 Post subject: yeh, Eisley is greatPosted: Mon Mar 28, 2005 10:16 pm 
Hey guys, i'm writing this with a peacful tone, because it's from the heart, and it's true. Recently i've had a few minor problems with girls - with hindsight they were really, really minor - but at the time i thought they were huge. Eisley have been almost the sole sound makers (minus radio, Ed Harcourt and Alexis, and the beach boys) from my CD player recently, so as usual i pressed the play buton. Except this time i had some phone calls to do; apologising, and all that malarky. Tough stuff. i dunno, i felt it was easier with Eisley playing in the background; they're music is so peacful, and, although they write from various viewpoints, it does sound from the heart. and the lyrics; most of them so true (particularly lovin' the line "we'll hold the hands of sinners". so inspiring). and do'ya know what? The other night, before i was to phone Ana, my supposed girlfrind whom i hadn't spoken to ages, i was nervous. Eisley was playing. I was sitting on my bed, feeling rejected; head in my hands, thoughtful. As far as i can remember the song was Brightly wound. Then a thought; "hang on, here are a group of Christians who make awesome music, and i'm suposedly a Christian, so why should i be nervous; God's with me. I can do awesome stuff too! i do music as well!" that gave me peace. I was less nervous and made that phone call straight away. So thankyou, Eisley, for helping me through the past week or so, you really are an awesome band. nice...i haven't done anything marvelous though except that Eisley has always been accompanying me while i wrack my PC and makes me able to wrack it more...hahhaha... _________________

It is indeed a word. this dictionary says (page 1347, for those who care): "Wrack n Wreck (age) ; = RACK ; seaweed cast up, or growing below high-water mark, and used for manure etc." or, it can also be used as an abrv. for the Womens Royal Army Corps. Yeah, Eisley's music makes me happy. I almost listen to them 24 hours a day. With breaks for Muse and some other stuff. But I like listening to them when I sleep. I normally wait until after Just Like We Do to try to fall asleep though because that is one of my favorite songs on the cd. I should really do another drawing. Need more hours in the day. Anyways... I have to go because I'm going to be at the church tomorrow for something like 10-11 hours since I have to get ready for youth group and I stay until it starts.... And we only have the student leaders and my mom for leaders tomorrow night because 4 of our other leaders can't make it. It's going to be a busy day. _________________ Thistledown |
