I don't hate it, but I don't watch it either. All of my friends seem to love it though, as if drama needed to be scripted and regurgitated into our faces.

i hate it because they stole they're sign off Focus and i have a Focus beanie which is now about 4 years old, and wear it all the time, and everyone thinks it's an OC hat, even though it plainly says Focus and i've been wearing it for 4 years (not constantly, mind) and is thus older than the OC, and everyone therefore thinks i love the OC. i've never even watched it, darn it! so i hate it. for making people think i love it.

I can't watch it, b/c I work on Thursday nights. However, I took off next Thursday, but I did that so I could go see Eisley. Very Happy

I'm usually too busy watching Survivor to even consider watching it.

see it every once and awhile. sometimes it's cute and fun, and sometimes it's just down right annoying and awful. This season went nowhere. The stories just went around in circles with no compelling resolution or impact. But regardless, I'm still going to stay tuned to see Death Cab's guest appearance.

i watched it religiously last year, and i've seen maybe 2 or 3 episodes this year.
i will be the first to admit that it's incredibly and sometimes annoyingly overdramatic/unrealistic. however, adam brody is hot - i'm sorry, he just is. he is why i started watching that show.
anyway, i voted that i love it, purely by process of elimination. a more accurate description of my emotion toward the oc is that i don't hate it, and it intrigues me, and i watch it when i can (which is rare, cuz thursdays nights are busy for me).

So true. Plus, the show turned into a soap opera in the 3rd episode. I hate it when shows can't decide what kind of a show they are going to be...or try to lure in viewers by beginning with a normal storyline then blowing it all out of proportion by the and of the third of forth episode. I am waiting to see the preiview of an alien abduction of sorts....then I might just watch it for that reason.

I dunno ... I think it was pretty much a soap opera the whole time.

The first two episodes were just about teenagers and their parents in Orange County, as far-fetched as the storyline may have been from the beginning I don't think they started off like a soap opera right from the get-go, but I can understand how you would say that.

I don't think a show would start out its season with teen fights, teen rivalry, teen drinking, teen nerds, teen football dudes, and, "Who are you?"
"Whoever you want me to be," if it weren't a primetime soap opera Razz
