On behalf of all Canadians who live OUTSIDE of Toronto, I would like to present for consideration some probable locations that could be added to the upcoming tour. West ~Vancouver, BC ~Victoria, BC ~Edmonton, Alberta ~Calgary,Alberta Central ~Saskatoon,Saskatchewan* ~Regina, Saskatchewan ~Winnipeg, Manitoba I sincerely think one or two shows out in "the middle of nowhere" could prove beneficial not only to the band, but to everyone living "out west" who can't afford to travel to see the band. With proper promotion, we could also attract plenty of new fans. So please, hear me out. Canadians! speak up! *please note that Saskatoon is highlighted for no apparent reason at all. _________________ guitarfreak217 wrote: Everyone, listen to Leigh. The canadians will come along to the shows, curious to discover "what all the posters are about" and they'll be in the venues, their eyebrows raised and their hearts beating with anticipation. Eisley will come out on stage, and the canadians will stand staring in awe, and holding their beer, not throwing it. Leigh and fawn will scream out song names and will sing along at the top of their lungs. The Canadians eyebrows will continue to be raised in the feeling of eerie satisfaction that can only come from the beautiful harmonies of Stacy and Sherri, their hearts will beat faster, keeping the beat with Weston, the Canadians will melt into a pile of ooey gooey admiration and love (not literally) and it will be proof that it isn't a coincidence that merch sells faster in Canada. The band doesn't have record sales in Saskatoon because NO ONE WILL BOTHER to order albums in for us. If you could keep track of downloads I'm sure you'd find it a better prospect then you might think. _________________ guitarfreak217 wrote: Everyone, listen to Leigh. Canada is so great. I often support Western NY takeovers, but no one goes for it. Everyone sees Buffalo as this "Hardcore Scene" but it's totally not. And Jamestown where I live just has a little tiny cafe that could hold maybe 100 people. _________________ "I ask none to live for me, nor do I live for any others. I love you for making this post. I would LOVE it if Eisley could come out to Edmonton, or even Calgary. I know they were in Calgary when they toured with Coldplay (which, sadly, was before I had heard of them) and it would be so great if they would come out this way again. |
