 Post subject: Some thoughts.. oh and who's going to the Minneapolis show?Posted: Mon Apr 04, 2005 12:46 pm 
I get to see them for the very first time on the 15th at the quest!!  I hope there will be some other Eisley kids there too... Lets all get pizza after the show shall we?
And if I could, I want to take this opportunity to share how I feel about this band. I posted once in the "welcome" thread, but I dont think thats enough. From the first time I heard them, about a month ago (I know its late, but I think I'm still the only person in my area that knows who they are ) I was completely blown away... No one artist has affected me the way Eisley has, since the first time I heard "yellow" by coldplay... (20 seconds in to that song, I already put my shoes on to go out and buy "Parachutes", which was like 2 days after it had come out sorry that was off topic, forgive me) When the chorus hit for "Telescope eyes" I had tears.. maybe it was the mood I was in, or the events that were happening in my life, but the harmony, the sheer beauty of Sherri and Stacy's voices had my eyes welled with tears. From that second on, I was hooked. I cant tell you how many hours I've spent on OrangeGoldandGreen.com reading lyrics, watching videos, and sucking up all of the unreleased and rare goodness that amazing site has to offer.. I am in awe most of the time while listening to them, and I get that same eye-watering experience quite often. So if anyone in the band, or boyd, or anyone associated with this band reads this, Thank you. Thank you so much for the music, the way you tap into the emotional part of my life the way only very very few bands can, and the fact that you all seem so real, so down to earth, and so in touch with your fans or friends as you like to call them. I will forever be a fan and friend.

this shall be good I'll be roadtripping up there with this goonface. I like pizza, so I vote yes. As long as maybe we can hit up a good place for tea also. Our group has pretty much established that we probably won't be staying for Reggie or NFG (unless we're at the merch tables with Jon and the Duprees:D), so I hope that's cool! |

I am not sadly going to be able to make it to the Minneapolis show, my heart hurts due to this!!! But I hope its a blast for ya all! Ouch I am so jealous, but school and work are conflicts at the moment. |

I just printed off my tickets for the Quest today. it will be my 2nd Eisley show. My friend Dan and I are coming. I think they'd be cool with hanging out. I've got some friends up in MN so hopefully we can all hang out. |
