mario was so about drugs.

mushrooms, flower power, mustaches and crazy hats.

geese-things with turtle shells? man that game was awesome. what a cool compliment. i bet mario felt pretty great after eating the mushroom: instantly twice his normal height and able to sustain at least one attack from aforementioned geese-things.

I can also establish a connection with The Beatles.

Shigeru Miyamoto -- a Japanese cat from Kyoto, Japan. Well, he's the guy behind Mario and Donkey Kong and virtually every other famous Nintendo character. He's a genius, all that. He sports a mop top to this very day. Like Eisley and myself, he grew up on the Beatles and was inspired by them in EVERYTHING he did. Just listen to Luigi in the Sky with Diamonds and play Super Mario Bros. It's the same world, man.

The Beatles are one of the few things not overrated. You just cannot deny them anything. The foundation of rock music, exactly.

Toodles.
