ok...well..after reading what boyd said, i dont care if he was joking about the nfg guys crying haha.. but, it still kind of makes me feel bad that some of us dissed their music but i think we got over that and decided that even if some of us dont like their music, that's alright but at least we can respect them as people and eisleys new friends!! hehe---so here's a post to show that. besides, they LOVE eisley which gives them cool points anyway <333 |

They're nice guys, and the music deserves more of a shot than it gets here. But I'll hush before we start that debate again. _________________ My photography:www.jamiemphoto.com You can't spell awesome without emo...backwards! -Julie definingawesome (11:44:11 PM): Eisley shivers our timbers |

I don't think he's vegetarian anymore, but he's still straight edge. He's just a good guy, plain and simple. |

He seems like he cares about every person that talks to him, or recognizes him, he was so unbelieveably nice when I met him. _________________ Flutter girl killing me with her sunshine... she's so unaware that she's my melpomene. hi www.myspace.com/musicislove |

I used to like new found glory. Not as much now, but I do love Eisley, and I'm glad that regardless of musical differences, they still work together to develop a good relationship with eachother! It's great! Christie Olson P.S.: anyone.. please fill me in what do you mean by "Straight edge" I see it as someone with a good head on their shoulders and doesn't do bad stuff that is illegal or otherwise immoral, which is pretty sweet. is that what you guys mean wh en you say straight edge? _________________ I don't know if this is constitutional or well in simpliar words if I can do this.. but I'm gonna try. ok I LOVE EISLEY and... they love me.. hahaha ok don't ask. but yay three cheers for EISLEY and ALL that is HAPPY! |

Straight edge means that you don't drink alcohol, do drugs, or have casual sex. I don't think drinking alcohol makes anyone a bad person, but straight edge people choose not to have unhealthy substances in their body for their better well-being. |

also alot of straight edgers are vegetarian/vegan. if we all can't learn a lesson from the fact that someone who played hardcore music, plays pop/punk has enough of an open mind to love the music of such wonderful people like bjork and eisley then maybe we aren't paying attention. human beings are too dimensional to like just one type of anything in this world. peace out homies... |

Straightedge has so many definitions now. I don't even use those terms because 99 percent of the time they are meant to just insult. (Even though the one said on here wasn't) You will never really hear me say "THIS BAND SUCKS!" Because I know the difference between personal tastes and facts. I might not like NFG a ton, but you can't ignore that they put on great shows for their fans, music that has entertainment many many people around the US and the world, and the fact they are going ON stage and playing music. Not everyone can do that. If anything, you'll hear me say "I really don't dig them. Not my tastes." A lot of people tend to not like a band as classify them as "THAT BAND SUCKS!" People need to learn to seperate personal tastes and facts. I do like a few of their songs though. They have some of those songs that keep repeating in your head and can't get out no matter what you do. (In a good way) I wish them luck in whatever they do. As long as the music is there, and people are enjoying it, then go for it. _________________ UPDATE: REAL MYSPACE LINK! http://www.myspace.com/2399095 Check out my FLICKR and leave comments!!! http://www.flickr.com/photos/28644084@N00/

i really dug the album NFG did a few years back that was all movie theme covers... but then EVERY band starting releasing cover albums and i tired of the whole thing because punk covers ended up being nothing more than faster versions of the originals... hmm, maybe i'll go dig out some NFG stuff... idk, i could sleep... _________________ THE AUDIOSCROBBLER!
