I want to buy Room Noises, which I saw I can buy off the official band site. But I would also like to buy the Laughing City and Marvellous Things EP's (which I did not see in the store). Are these two EP's still available? If so, where is the best place to buy all 3? I'm looking for a place that is reasonably priced, ships overseas to Australia, and of course, benefits the band the most. I don't know how it works- how much money the band makes per CD, if buying from some places is better than others etc. _________________ "*woop woop* uh-oh, it's the hyperbole police, and they're coming to take you away to exagerationatraz" - Stan Smith, American Dad |

Amazon is probably most likely to have them all in stock, but if at all possible, I highly recommend that you order them through a local, independently-owned record store. Support your local record store, I say! Good luck finding the EPs. They're officially out of print, but a lot of places still have copies. _________________ INTELLECT AND ROMANCE OVER BRUTE FORCE AND CYNICISM Smokemonster |

If no local stores have them, I think the internet would be your best bet. Amazon, or any other music store online you like. I doubt the band sees much of the money from the EPs or CDs. I don't think it matters much who you order it through because WB is distributing it all anyhow, not the band themselves. |

Try Amazon. That is one of the few places you will be able to get them all together, but I can't tell you how great their overseas service is. Laughing City and Marvelous Things are no longer being printed, so get them while you can. dear god you guys are speedy. ok amazon might be the best place to get them. as much as i'd love to support local music shops, when HMV is telling me it will cost a small fortune to import them in, I can only imagine the smaller stores either a) wont be able to import them, or b) would charge even more. _________________ "*woop woop* uh-oh, it's the hyperbole police, and they're coming to take you away to exagerationatraz" - Stan Smith, American Dad |

I've sent CDs and LPs to Australia before, do you want me to send you a copy? Shipping is the devil, but I'd be fine getting it to you if you can cover it. I wonder if that's cheaper than going through traditional mail order. I'll just get the CD at the next show I go to (on the 18th). That's 10 bucks and maybe cheaper shipping, I'd hope. And welcome to the forum. http://www.eisley.com/store/ Adam, what are you talking about? Are they hiding the EPs somewhere on that page? JD _________________ "Well, hopefully that's our job, to strap rockets onto everything." - Adam Savage, Mythbusters |
