What is the eisley "flat" that you offer in the emerge store?

I've seen a big poster with the room noises poster at borders, in the corner being used as a promo for room noises. Is that what a flat is? cause i certainly want one of those. makes a very nice poster. oversized, too.

I've even thought about asking borders to let me pay for it, cause they don't probably don't usually sell the promo items .....

A "Flat" is a 12" x 12" promotional poster, usually made on thick cardstock paper, and usually is double-sided (has different artwork on front and back). you commonly see them hanging in music store wall displays.

The giant "Room Noises" thing you saw at Borders is a rare find, ask them if they'll give it to you!

My dad is the only person I know that asks records stores for their promo posters. Confused

It is worth asking. My friend Mike got the promo poster from Ocean's Eleven from our local Sam Goody. It's like at least 4 ft by 4 ft

i better go to borders and get it fast, before some other eisley-crazy fan on this board gets it. (after getting the idea from this thread)

also, the poster at borders is about 4 ft by 4 ft. And its cardboard, so you can't fold it up. Its not going to be stealable, unless you happen to be that guy from ocean's eleven.

c'mon....use some of that cat like thief instinct.....just pick it up....walk out with it....calmly....if someone says something to you...just start talking nonsense....be like "The yabba dabba doo man has you in the palm of his hand.." then sing to a tune "Why are you following me fairy?" and they'll just drop it cause they don't want to mess with a lunatic....

*edit- It totally works at Wal Mart

unfortunately, one of the employees at borders decided that they wanted the eisley 4 by 4 so even if i asked for it beforehand, it would still be unlikely that i would get it.... now i'm trying to hunt down another one, since i heard they usually throw them away once they're done with them.

however, the cool guy working there let me have dibs on one of their four nine inch nails posters.

unclearlies, i admit that stealing might have worked, but i'm not going to try it!

i'm sure these things are worth collecting around here, cause i'm sure ebayers would love to pay something for them. if i get one, i'm sure not ebaying it...please pm me if you see a 4 by 4 eisley flat. i need some decoration on my walls.

the eisley flat actually refers to an apartment in the south of London that Eisley tagged with their awesome vandalism skillz...
