Boyd/Kimbrtones - oughta get the girls to sign up for "freeipods.com"... post their stuffs here... I'm pretty sure you guys could get free ones pretty easily I know I'd help - just to support the band, etc..... Take it easy. that is actually quite a good idea. i'm sure they'd get plenty of people to click the referral link on here.. oh! but isn't it one per shipping address? anyway i read about this in boyd's blog. i'm really sorry to hear about that, i know i'd be pretty upset if someone stole my ipod. and i'm REALLY sorry to hear about christie's birthday money, that's horrible. the idea someone would steal at all is bad enough, but from a young girl.. GRRR. i had my stuff (money, ID, laptop) stolen while i was asleep once. it was pretty scary. it makes you sad that there are people out there who do this kind of thing, and how it so often seems to happen to such good people. but at least the girls are ok. _________________ "dial" in Welsh means "revenge". Like I said prior I am quite happy that everyone is safe, but I do find it a bit humorous how so many people seem shocked at this unfortunate event. No offense to anyone, but it speaks to a lot of naivete. I hope no one finds this a sufficient reason to become uber-paranoid, but our planet is not always a nice place. It is a risk we take every day, and one that I have begun to welcome. It helps me to appreciate the good things and people in life even more. yeah...the more it has sunk in, thinking of that guy, (Weston and Stacy actually saw him earlier that evening snooping around doors), was probably two feet from my sleeping daughters. He could have even stood over them....that really creeps me out. I'm so thankful that they were not hurt in any way other than material possessions. |

I hope the wankers behind this used the per diums and iPod in a quest to cure cancer or eradicate world hunger, because surely there can be no other reason to break into a hotel room and steal personal belongings from sleeping people. Here's to you, burglar: may you choke on the cheap vodka you bought with your purloined money and pawned belongings. _________________ INTELLECT AND ROMANCE OVER BRUTE FORCE AND CYNICISM Smokemonster |

I'm glad they're ok. I hope that whoever did this trips and loses all his front teeth. _________________ hello. |

crap! I got scared when I read the title of this thread, and the worst is that the board wouldn´t let me read it for some reason. I´m glad to know they´re all fine... despite of the losses _________________

I'm glad they're ok, too. I want to know hwo this guy got in. It would almost have to be a hotel employee, depending on how the locks are. I hope they file or have filed charges. Maybe, if it's an employee, there's a thin hope of getting some of the stuff back. Jeez. They might want to wedge a chair against the door or something, or demand more security from higher ups. _________________ My photography:www.jamiemphoto.com You can't spell awesome without emo...backwards! -Julie definingawesome (11:44:11 PM): Eisley shivers our timbers |

This is horrible news. Unfortunately this isn't the first time I've heard about things like this taking place. Jason from Mates of State had all of his money and clothing stolen while they were in London. It's an awful thing to have happen and it can really turn a person sour on a particular location. I'm shocked that someone would commit this crime with the girls asleep in the room. We're li-i-i-i-i-i-i-i-i-ving in a den of thieves. _________________ No no no no no no way, sir. |
