I'm noticing lots of posts that are saying "My mom won't let me go to the 12:15am show" and "Damn, it's 18 and older only" and now I'm feeling REALLY old. I also heard that they are christian and I am atheist, does that make me a hypocrite?
Also, what is the setlist for the summer show. Anyone know?? I am agnostic and 31. Don't think anything of it. If you are an Eisley fan and want to know what they are up to and want to discuss them with other fans, here is the place to do it. I don't know how old these folks are most of the time. I have seen them several times since 2002. I'm definitely one of the "older" people at their shows. But music is music. I don't care how old the artist is. I just watched Mike Roe from the 77s do a gig at a small time coffee house in Longview, TX and he is 49 years old. But to me, he is the coolest guitarist that exists. In fact, his band once played at the Duprees' club, Brewtones. |

I consider the music from this band to be healing... yep I know, maybe that's a bit over the top... but for that reason the band is in my prayers.. And I'm not even all that religious... but I'm sending a shout out to God to help them get all the way.. This music is important for the planet. Lots of healing still to be done. _________________ Myspace Artist Webpage |

The last time I would have even been in a Church was at a funeral - and that was over 15 years ago. As long as the songs aren't overly preachy (and Eisley certainly isn't even close) I don't care what the bands believe in. And for what it's worth, I flew over to London to see Avril Lavigne. What does that make me?? Turns out I was wrong about my aunt's age. She is actually 74 and turns 75 this September. As it turns out, the sort of music you listen to has nothing to do with whether you are a loser or not. So we can't really answer that question for you, meaningfully. JD _________________ "Well, hopefully that's our job, to strap rockets onto everything." - Adam Savage, Mythbusters |

When I went to see Eisley I thought I was going to be the youngest one there because I'm 14 but there was this little girl I'm guessing around 8 there too. But it wasn't only that I saw older couples as in older than 30 there also. It just made Eisley cooler. You are definitely not a loser. |

I'm 26 and yeah, sometimes I feel old around all these youngsters. But just tell yourself what I do: "at least I'm not as old as boyd." _________________ "The revolution starts today, not tomorrow." :: got g-Love? |
