i prefer the term "roll." except when preceded by the word "sticky." then it must be "bun." this didn't answer the question but it's all i have. _________________ blog. check it. |

A cinnamon bun and a honey bun are two totally different things. Cinnamon bun:
Honey bun:
A cinnamon bun has cinnamon inbetween the rolls, and white icing dripped on the top (though it looks like they used more of a glaze in the pic), a honey bun is plain and covered in glaze. I think iced/sticky/honey buns are all the same, though I use the term 'honey buns'. Wow, I just wrote a technical post on honey buns. I think I'm getting ready to 'splode or something. _________________ ♥ Love, Jamie ♥ |

Yeah, I have to agree with Shyviolet...I have always called them cinnamon "rolls." It was always the lunchladies who called them sticky buns, so I associate sticky buns with women who have hairnets and lipstick on their teeth. _________________ Etsy ~ My Handmade Jewelries!!!
