I named my iPod 'Uncle Rico' back when I first got it. That was before Napoleon Dynamite was being constantly quoted by highschoolers everywhere and wasn't annoyingly being displayed everywhere you turned around.

If you ship it off to applecare, they won't give you a different answer. Your best bet it to head to a retail store and see if the management there is sympathetic to your cause. Don't mention that you got it at Best Buy though. _________________

it works, trust me i had this old 15 gig and i got so sick of it, even though it was working becuase of the battery life, so i threw it in my swimming pool and sent it in now i have a 30 gig photo!

I accidently dropped my iPod in water on Saturday when getting into a car and amazingly enough, it still works. It has a tiny dent on the side, but I can now say my iPod has battle scars. Maybe I'll give it a manly name like "VOLTAR" or "BEEFZOR" or "BUTCH" now. _________________ Blaahg Mahspace Audioscrobbler
