Hey guys, my name's...umm....Ryan. I first heard of Eisley from BK. I downloaded some of their older songs and loved them. For some reason I never got around to picking up the Laughing City EP. Then when I heard BK was going to the concert at the Gypsy Tea Room I asked him to pick up both EP's for me. And yeah anyways he did (and got one of them signed _________________

Hi, I'm Cicily. I'm 22 and live in Utah. I've been lurking around the forum for a while now, reading Boyd's very entertaining updates of the current tour. Finally this morning I decided to come out of lurking mood and officially join the forum. I was introduced to Eisley's music in Sept. 2003 by Jesse Lacey, lead singer of Brand New. He played a little bit for me, and I liked what I heard so I went out and bought The Laughing City EP soon after. I was blown away. Their music is so fresh and so different from anything I've ever heard. I began taking vocal lessons recently and Eisley is the only thing I'll take to my lessons with me; Their cd has become a staple in my music collection that hardly ever leaves my six-cd changer. The Brand New/Hot Rod Circuit/Eisley tour is coming to my town the day after tomorrow and I'm very excited to see Eisley perform live. <3 Cicily ... _________________ _________________________________________ I rock the Harosport. I am a newbie. I gotta be honest, guys. I just heard Eisley for the first time tonight. I was really just trying to write them an e-mail or something that could tell them how swell they thought they were and I got lost. So here I am - newbie casual fan. I saw the Telescope Eyes video on Windows Media Player and thought it rocked my socks and that I should tell them that. 'Cause it did you know. I really took me by surprise. I liked it enought to go through all the trouble of signing up for this forum and I never even got to tell them how cool they were. I guess it's alright. I bet they know. _________________ Fats: Shoot pool, Fast Eddie. Fast Eddie: I'm shootin' pool, Fats. When I miss, you can shoot. |

And I officially typed "tell them how swell they thought they were." Neat. I bet that was what they were hoping to hear. I meant, of course, how swell I thought they were. But the cool thing is they don't know I messed up. They're kind of like the Wizard of Oz. They're behind this curtain that I want to pull back but I'm on a forum and there's no curtain in sight. Hey everyone, I just heard Eisley for the first time a few days ago, and found it necessary to investigate who these talented kids were. That brought me to their website, and then here, naturally... Anyway, I'm really enjoying their music so far, and I'm looking forward to hearing more. Hopefully I'll find a way to make it to the Cincinnati show this coming Wednesday. We'll see. As for me, I'm a 17-year old guy whose main hobby is music. I've played guitar for about 5 years, sing quite a bit, and dabble on keys from time to time. My favorite pasttime is writing and recording music at home. I also enjoy drawing, although I don't do it as much as I'd like to. Well, I just thought I'd introduce myself. Talk to you later! Ben |

hey, my name is Casey. I live in Wichita, Kansas, I'm a graphic designer, I work too much, I've played guitar for almost 10 years, I play guitar in a band, we tour and record on a regular basis, I drink too much coffee, I never sleep, and I drive a mini-van. I've known of Eisley for about 2 years, I believe. Needless to say, I was surprised when I saw them on mtv. so, here I am. |

Ok, now that I got my name out of the way I would like to say something of great importance, or maybe not. Well, I read an article in I would like to say Seventeen magazine about Eisley, and well I found them to be very interesting. So after reading the article I immediately went out in search of the Laughing City E.P, but alas it was no where to be found. Well, the internet has all so I ordered it from Circuit City and it took forever to come, so I waited and waited and waited some more, and finally on a beautiful sunny day it arrived in my mail box. I tore it out of the package and enjoyed some pure musical bliss, this was my first experience listening to Eisley, and one lurking question was in the back of my mind, it was why haven't I heard of this awesome band before? Were they lurking in the shadows out of my sight? Anyway, now that I know about Eisley and their amazing music that surpasses just about anything else I have heard I want the world to know about Eisley. Spread the word Eisley is not to be hidden in a cave, they deserve to be seen atop the mountain. |
