I'm going to Cleveland for the show. The House of Blues seems to be the only venue on the tour with reserved seating. I'm going to Phoenix for the November 10th performance too. I'm a new devotee of Eisley. After spending much of the year at sea on a tramp freighter wandering around the world, I returned to a stack of music magazines late this summer. The review in Paste didn't grab me but the Eisley tunes on the sampler CD and DVD were completely enchanting. Of the 50 or so CDs that I've gotten since my return to the States, Room Noises has gotten the most play by a factor of five. The two EPs arrived today. I take a little comfort in seeing that I'm not the only obsessed fan following the band around the country. Since I'm of the Boyd and Kim generation, when I say that I've never done anything like this before it means something. The Grateful Dead had the Deadheads...what are we, the Eis-guys? |
