I went into Borders looking for another band's CD and of course, they never have had any Eisley CDs at Borders. At least I never saw any in 3 years. Anyways I thought to myself, why not just check. So I checked, and DUN- DUUUUUUUUN! they had Marvelous Things AND Laughing City AND Room Noises. Oh well, it made my day to see all three out of the blue. They never had any Eisley CDs and these three sort of just popped up. They weren't in the EIS section, they were in the Fs or something. I think my fairy godmother waved her wand or something though.

I see their CDs everywhere. I just don't know why I haven't heard any of their songs promoted except for "Telescope Eyes." I guess Reprise is still milking the Green Day record dry. And now the new Depeche Mode is coming out. But I doubt they'll do much promo for that one since DM's place in pop culture has evolved into more of a cult status.

I think both EPs are out of print now. They aren't exactly rare yet, but they could be soon. Depending on the status of the band 5 years from now, they could end up being valuable.

i guess no one in yourarea likes Eisley that much, finding the EPs around here is ridonkulous...its like seeking the holy grail...I think MT is still floating around CDepot...but no way in heck you're gonna find LC...

i find a copy of laughing city in nearly every b&n i stop in... but that's prolly because 45% of the people in illinois are preoccupied with what the television says is cool... and another 45% refuse to pay for their music no matter how much they listen to a certain album...

but i've got mine, and when i have some extra bucks, i pick up extra copies of the cd's and give them to friends

I couldn't find Room Noises at Borders, but when I looked it up it said it was in stock. The old guy I ask said they were out of stock, but I asked this cool younger worker and he just turned around and picked it up from the Employee Recommended section and gave it to me without looking up. Borders was the only place in town that had Laughing City when I bought it... but that was two years ago. Wink Best Buy had about six copies of Marvelous Things when it came out. Two of them were the blurry misprints, and I got one. Very Happy
