Haven't you ever heard some famous musician say "I'm just a normal person like everyone else."? I hear that often. A lot of them want to be treated like they are normal. Because they ARE. The only difference is that they're talents are being showcased. Still sounds normal, doesn't it? Well there you go.

i hope you never ask for autographs, then.

I hope you will actually read what people say instead of jumping to the point of autographs. Sheesh. You missed the point by a mile. You shouldn't hope someone never asks for autographs, you should hope the person doing the signing of that autograph gets treated like a normal human being. Their talents shouldn't make them unapproachable and immortal. That's just how everyone seems to perceive anyone who gets a spot at showing people their gifts. And sorry if anyone is annoyed that I had to restate everything previously said, but it seems that my point is missed.

End.

actually, I'd love people to be discussing every nuance of my life, seriously, I'd love it.

I'll give you a little example, asides from his Businesses, my Dad is quite involved in Politics, particularly the Cyprus Issue, I am not going to say who he is, not because you know him, but because you will most likely google his name, but anyway, if ever i am in the predominantly greek areas near and around where I live, and I go into a Greek Bakery, Butcher, Cafe et al, people will always say "You are Spiros' son aren't you?" And I love getting that attention and gloating about how he regularly meets the greek ambassador and jack straw and people like that. It fulfills my desire to recieve attention, whether it is in the real world, or on the internet as a forum troll.

seems mine is missed too. what i mean is, asking for an autograph automatically makes that person something special, as does paying for a show or merchandise or records. yes, i realize they're human beings. i'm not saying they're gods or someone to be worshipped, not at all. all i'm saying is that there's a difference between carrying on like they're just the next person in the room, or paying a little bit of respect to their accomplishments by treating them somewhat differently than you would your peer.

{by the way, i don't mean to start a war here. just stating my opinion. Smile i realize people have extremely varying feelings on the subject.}
