Is it true that someone from Eisley is playing on the new Elected album, Sun, Sun, Sun?

Stacy Dupree sings backup vocals on a couple of the songs.

Okay I feel guilty about hearing the leak (I'm buying it the day it comes out, for serious!!), but Stacy's voice sounds amazing. Oooh man.

New Elected album? Wow I am so not in the know. When does it come out? *is now so excited* And Stacy sings on it?! EXCELLENT!

Anyone know anything about the Jenny Lewis solo album?

there's a cover of a traveling wilbury's song on it, "handle with care" and it features vocals by ben gibbard, conor oberst, and m.ward. (not to mention the lovely jenny herself)

it's great.

the elected's record is really, really good....a lot more organic-sounding than the first...it's not 'polished' per se, but there's a much more mature vibe to it than the first album...and i really like it.

yeah. the novelty of her absurd lyrics wears off rather quickly.
and i'm pretty sure the watson twins are the girls from 'the shining' all grown up.

i happen to like the new jenny lewis solo album quite a bit. there's not many new things catching my ears these days, and this and the new elected albums surely have. good stuff.
