(4) you could stay at places like this
(5) you could check out some great aussie music like the sleepy jackson, something for kate & the butterfly effect (6) you get lot's of money when you exchange US$$ into aussie$$$ (7) Aussies are very friendly and love american tourists (8 ) You haven't been here yet so it would be a new experience (9) We have great weather all 12 months of the year AND (10) and most importantly you'd get to meet Deliciouspickles and myself as you can see,I'm gonna bother and pester you until you guys come here so it's in your best interests to include Oz on the tour..ok? hehe so if you/Kim or the band can tell me in this thread if that doesn't sound good then please do so and we'll correct it for you guys, whatever it takes P.S I know I sound l;ike a sad delusional fan but yes,I am serious, you must grace us with your presence _________________

maybe you should offer up your place for dupree clan and jonathan to stay at. that could seal the deal. and offer lessons in throwing boomerangs. yes, definitely, that'll do it. _________________ me, dianna. here's a must: you must offer a tour of the Lord of the Rings ...stuff. i know it's not exactly in australia, but close enough ,right? that would probably get kim over there in a heartbeat and then the rest would follow. fool-proof!!! _________________ me, dianna. homesickalien gets the "I tried harder" award for getting Eisley to his country. Now I guess we just need maybe like...2 or 3 fans to have a great show! no, but I did mention it to Dave just a few days ago... all in good time I guess. Many plans for US and UK shows in progress for next year. I don't know what it takes to become an international band... I guess you have to be pretty big. It's all new to me. We'll work on it, ok? awesome. I wanna come just to see the sights. dang. bd _________________ EisleyWebGuy "The industrialists never saw the fruit of their own labor - Post Moderism, which I now proclaim as dead. if eisley goes to australia i'm going too. i've always wanted to see the "land down under".. hey that gives me an idea. If there aren't enough fans to sell out a venue we can import them from the US and UK. I think i remember a story about someone fedex'ing themselves to a different country... that may work. *wheels are turning* _________________ "Religions have started on lesser revelations" - investor on MarketWatch.com |

And seeing as it's probably gonna be quite some time before they venture further afield than Europe, I may be able to afford it by then! Quote: I think i remember a story about someone fedex'ing themselves to a different country... that may work. I remember recently someone packing themselves in a crate. They got caught I think... but only at the other end. Other than that, all that springs to mind is The Velvet Underground's "The Gift".... which didn't exactly end very plesantly... I'm thinking it's not worth the risk... _________________ ~David "Wee would beeee so happy you and meee Noone there to tell us.. what to do!" |

I don't think it really takes being a big band to be international. Brandtson isn't too huge [they're on Deep Elm records, which yes, the name was inspired by Deep Ellum] and they have been to Japan and Europe. I think it's just a matter of the management and booking. PS - You should all listen to Brandtson. They rule. _________________ "The revolution starts today, not tomorrow." :: got g-Love? |
