unrelated, random questions that I thought about on my walk home in the rain.

1) What EP is the song Dream For Me originally on?

2) What does EP stand for?

3) When an album is bought on iTunes, does that count towards the billboard charts?

thank you everyone!

EP stands for:
exceptional parent
extreme potential
effective precipitation
European Plan
export price

...but in relation to what you are saying, it means Extended Play.

Good question about how the iTunes thing counts on charts. Maybe if I knew more about the music biz ...

I'm pretty sure that iTunes downloading counts to the billboard charts, only because digital downloading is becoming so popular...

I think I read that 10 digitally purchased tracks from a single artist will count as 1 album to whoever keeps record.

Mine says EP 1. But I don't know for sure. It could be labeled wrong.

ep stands for extended play - i.e. more than a single, usually about 4 tracks LP Long Play i.e. a whole album. Seems kinda weird term to me... but that's it.

and, they answered the question about which song D.F.M was on..

I'm not 100% sure, but like 80% sure that iTunes downloades is on a different charting system. I'm very sure Billboard is physical record sales. I'm sure they all filter down to final sales, but Billboard is more 'physical'. Time for more research.

**edit

Billboard made a new charting system for digital downloads, and iTunes downloads count on that chart.

EP and LP go back to the vinyl days, which of course means you have to be old. Much like 33, 45, and 78 rpm
