It was in a VERY prestigious and awesome place at Virgin Records on Mockingbird Lane. It was one of the 4 albums you see when you first walk in. Not only that, but it's at the listening station! I quickly made my way through the horde of people gathered about the listening booth that had Eisley on. It was easy to get through the crowd because they were all gawking in awe at the marvelousness coming from the sound relaying system(headphones), so I had time to grab the EP and hide in the Rock&Pop section before they realized that I had taken a copy and hunted me down for not waiting 'til they were finished gawking and everybody had a fair chance of getting one.

But they realized, so I ran about the store grabbing things and laying low before they starved from lack of Eisley and went back to the listening station.

However, I must not forget that I also got 5 other CD's, because if I didn't mention these lovely pieces of work, they would cry after reading this and scratch themselves up so I couldn't listen to them and I'd have to buy their clones Crying or Very sad
I Also Got:
Phantom Planet - The Guest(mainly because it has California on it)
Ramones - Mania
Bruce Springsteen - Some sort of 3 CD set, for only $20!
Dixie Chicks - Live
Liz Phair - Liz Phair

Oh yes, and I also looked at their Eisley section to look at the music and think how awesome it is that it's in the main rock&pop section instead of local music - They were sold out of Laughing City!

The first story is true except for the part about the horde

hey. I post - risking that my hidden feelings of glee will somehow be
uncovered... but, anyway, whatever. That's very cool. Thanks Eisley
Forever, for the glimpse into a little eisley retail moment.

Also, you're pretty diverse. That probably speaks to the magnitude of
your brain power. And I'm not sucking up just because you bought Marvy

Things tonight.

Yes. I can't think of a Simpsons quote right now.

I finally made it to the Best Buy in Longview, and they had one copy of Marvy Things (Note to Boyd: It was in register). I hope this meant that the other copies had been purchased. That would be cool.

Alf ... wow.
