mos eisley were how I stumbled upon eisley, they're from newcastle, my home city. they renamed as the death of cool and are now called the motorettes, and are tipped for stardom this year. they got 4/5 for their latest single on planet sound of channel 4 text.

aside from that, good to see eisley getting onto uk radio.

hi Boyd. looking forward to seeing you people again this year.....sometime.

Ahh. I suppose they didn't want legal confrontations either, then Wink. Thanks for clearing that up.

Good old whispering Bob Harris (Older UK fans will know his nickname is whispering).

Radio 2 is the best of the national stations by far, its basically what radio 1 used to be, it has Mark Radcliffe for a start, for me he is undoubtebtly the best dJ on radio now we have lost Mr Peel. Perhaps we should bombard Mark Radcliffe with requests to play Eisley too.

I agree with that second paragraph. I've actually switched from listening to Radio 1 to listening to Radio 2, because... well... it's so much more peaceful. And it sounds as if they do it for the fun of it, and the money (i dunno...) is just an aside. Meaning it's done from the heart and not the head. Meaning.. it's just so much... more round and.. i dunno... the words are here... wrong order... I think you kno wwhat i'm saying! Laughing

...and again!

Same link, go to ~21:21:55, enjoy Smile.

"I've had fabulous reaction to the tracks that I've played" - even though he's only played Brightly Wound Razz - albeit, twice. But yay, go feedback, go Eisley, go UK Radio!

lightning edit: Playlists are here, by the way.
