So I remember seeing this band perform on the Inpromptu stage at Cornerstone Illinois in 2002 late on the last night. I think they were called MossEisley then, right? I was very impressed. However, I had no money so I didn't pick up any merchandise, and soon forgot about the band.
I was browsing around Xanga, since I have a Xanga site (http://www.xanga.com/home.aspx?user=Iamthatotherhero), and happened to find a blogring dedicated to MossEisley. I happened to think "Hey, I've heard of that band." So I decided to go on Yahoo! and see if I could find any information on the group. It seems they have become quite well known since last year.
Methinks I will have to order a CD sometime.

hey, "imthatotherhero", I think formerly known as MossEisley is coming
to your state next summer. Ironically, I think they're playing
Cornerstone. Isn't there one in Florida now? I guess they're playing the
main stage or something... nice, ehh? And I guess they're playing the
one in North Carolina or something...and the one in Bushnell, Illinoise
also. (or something) None of the dates are confirmed yet, but I'm in the
cc loop. I see it unfolding. Nothing concrete I say.

is he gone? i think he's gone. oh well. anybody else in Florida that can
handle the heat and the hysteria of Cornerstone? We've only been once -
to Bushnell because Eisley got slotted in the New band showcase. Much
fun. We almost died of heat strokes. 114 degree's in the shade...
MossEisley played on a 6 foot stage, even closer to the top of the
hot air balloon (tent) with no breeze at 2:30 in the sweltering,
smoldering afternoon. Some of you remember. Sherri said, "thank you
guys SO much...now I think I'll go back stage and throw up Wink "

that rocks. Yeah, I have been to Cstone Illinois the past two years, and I went to the first annual Cornerstone Florida and plan on going again. It's actually an 8 hour trip, but well worth it. Yeah, the heat is pretty brutal. I almost passed out in the Ghoti Hook (R.I.P) mosh pit.
I look forward to seeing the band next year, then. Maybe this time I will have money and can buy some stuff.

Merry Christmas all.
