welllllllll... i hung out with the Eisley kids on my first visit to the big ol' TX. they arranged for a guy to pick me up and bring me to their house. then we hung out, i stayed for a week or so, and, we did everything together we ate the big meals around the huge table and into other rooms. it was like a big slumber party with no sleep and lots of food. it was so fun. then we rode our bikes around tyler, terrorising old ladies and little kids. then we went to starbucks and got so jacked up on caffeine that we didn't sleep for the next three days. so we partied with all of their friends and got down to some mad hip hop and stuff. then they drove me back to the airport and i went home after a week of madness. the fun fact of this story is that Eisley and their house is awesome. |

Um...I found out that Collin is my favorite Eisley because he is so rad. At my first Eisley concert my friend and I asked if we could help load out, and Boyd was like "Heck yes you can." (Not an exact quote) So we started helping them load Weston's set into it's case (it's like a friggin puzzle) and we weren't doing so well. Weston came and helped, then my friend and I disperced to other areas. I went over to Collin who was just chillin by the merch table and I was like, "What's up?" and we chatted for a while like I wasn't a complete stranger. Then I saw Kim getting ready to load up the merch stuff and offered to help, grabbing a box. Collin followed and so on and so forth. So my friend and I got to chill with Eisley for like....an hour. It rocked! Collin is by far my favorite Eisley. _________________ Weston wrote: i spit out a flury of rude language at garron like, "UGH!....DUMMY!" he flips out and crys for the next couple of hours, then we stop at subway my favorite restaurant and buy him a sub and things are cool now. Eisley came to my house before, and we fed them dinner and talked about stuff before the concert started. This was a few years ago, before they were signed. I booked them for a concert (I'm also a concert promoter, but haven't been doing any of my own concerts in a while now) and they were awesome and such down-to-earth real people, extremely polite and well mannered, but spontaneously energeticly fun conversationalists at the same time. We all talked and hung out like we were all old friends even though it was the first time we met in person (had communicated via e-mail before that). _________________ This space intentionally left blank. |

Shegong's German, so our slang probably makes no sense: http://www.worldwidewords.org/qa/qa-coo2.htm Saying someone has cooties is basically a way of calling them dirty. It seems to be used mostly in a humorous way these days, especially when used by adults. That said, Jamiga has cooties. _________________ My photography:www.jamiemphoto.com You can't spell awesome without emo...backwards! -Julie definingawesome (11:44:11 PM): Eisley shivers our timbers |

Cooties originally meant body lice and was a common word for them centuries ago, but today's meaning can still technically refer to body lice, but is most commonly used by pre-adolecent children in a teasing way, not necessarily to indicate anyone is actually "dirty". In fact, if you ask most 1st grade boys about cooties, they'd say it's something all girls have and you'll catch cooties if you touch a girl, but in a "pretend disease" sort of way, and can be instantly "cured" with a likewise imaginary aresol can of cootie disinfectant spray. _________________ This space intentionally left blank. |

haha, cooties are like...social germs. If you get them too much, you'll get a social infection, and people will not like you because they are afraid of your cooties. The best remedy for cooties are cootie catchers. I keep a big supply at home. To prevent cootie infection, take showers regularly, be nice to people, and don't pee your pants during class. Picking boogers and eating them is another way to get cooties. If you are the girl that chases boys around the playground and tries to kiss them, chances are, you are infected with cooties, and should seek help from the "cool kid" in your class. Throwing a cool slumber party is another way to cleanse yourself of cooties. Oh, man, I miss being a kid. |
