I will be seeing Eisley! Yay!! ps. Hi, you can delete this post if you want--just wanted to share my excitement. EDIT: WITH PICTURES FROM THE FT. LAUDERDALE SHOW on 3/20/06 Sorry it took so long for me to post these pictures. I didn't get home til 1 last night and I didn't get out of school til 5 for band practice today... anyway... BRIGHTEN
Christie, Brighten... and... me. I look blehlasdlkjg. So leave me alone.
SIMON DAWES Apparently none of the pictures I took came out so well.
I think this was when Blake (?) was talking to some girl in the audience about Myspace. She held up her hands to make a heart and he asked if that stood for Myspace. He was a cool guy.
Sorry, it's blurry. :/ EISLEY This was a good show despite Garron's amp messing up. It was really entertaining when Garron and Weston did their dance and Stacy just started playing random stuff on the keyboard. And they played about five new songs, I think... in addition to everything else they played after their "last" song. I can't remember all the songs they played but they did The Escaping Song, Mr. Pine, Memories, Marvelous Things, Telescope Eyes, Head Against The Sky, Golly Sandra, I Wasn't Prepared, Plenty Of Paper, Just Like We Do, Tree Tops, Many Funerals, Invasions (?), a couple other new songs that I didn't catch the name of, My Lovely, Sunfeet, and maybe some other ones I'm forgetting right now. But... on to the pictures.
This was as good as I could get to Garron because I stood right in front of Sherri, who was kinda right in front of Garron... :/ I didn't have much luck getting pictures of Weston though. I don't exactly have the best camera.
My friend, Olivia, and I with Stacy.
Poster! (for my brother) Yeah. Plus some other pictures and videos (like Weston and Garron's dance) but I don't know how to upload those But anyway, I had fun and they were all REALLY nice and I hope they come back soon!! I would like to see them for a third time! Ohh!! And I hope Garron has better luck with his amp as the tour continues. And sorry, I attempted to get a set list... but I failed. |

EDIT. By the way, I told Stacy about the Eisley facts thread and the stealing of the sharpies. Cause she almost stole mine. rofl I don't mean that in a bad way at all--it was just funny. "I tend to do that a lot... like I sign stuff, then I just keep the pen." Or something to that effect. Hah. |

Sweet pictures! Man, I bet that was an awesome show to be at with the all of the cool stuff happening-- especially the encore and Weston and Garron dancing. Sounds like the crowd was a-mazing. At Buzz-Oven we tried to get our krunkness going, but Sherri lost her voice (we just didn't know that when we started chanting "Eis-ley! Eis-ley!" and tried singing Tree Tops), so we felt stupid when we didn't get the clue when Many Funerals was the last song, i.e. "Goodbye". This tour is going to be tail-kickin' awesome! I can't wait! How was Invasion by the way? Was it amazing? _________________ "I cannot discuss your verses; for any attempt at criticism would be foreign to me. very nice. so was this a venue that is usually against taking pictures? I looks like you were front row, so it couldn't have been that big of a deal. I am worried about taking my camera. i might just have to shove it in a pocket or, in some cases (yeahyeahyeahs) i've had to stick it down my pants. and i really don't want to mess with people at the door. I just want to take my camera and get some decent pictures, because disposable cameras at concerts just don't work for me. |

I was just off to the side (plus my camera sucks) so the pictures didn't come out that good. You can always call and ask the venue you're going to if you're allowed to bring cameras. |
