is in 8 days! I have a few questions that might be pretty stupid, but...are you allowed to take pictures during the concert, and do the band members ever sign? And say you want to give the memebers something....That is it. I am just not sure. _________________ :* |

I'd say that it depends if they will sign or not. Oh as for the gifts, if you can't give to them personally, just leave it with whomever is running the merch booth. _________________ Power is only pain It’s probably better to have him inside the tent pissing out, than outside the tent pissing in. They get out and sign as much as they can. I will have to say that it depends a lot on timing. Do they have to get on the road to drive all night to the next show? Have they just driven in from an all night trip? Things like that, so be patient. But if they do make it out, I am quite sure, they would be more that happy to give you here John Hancock. _________________ ~P |

Sometimes the venues don't allow photos when the band does. I hate when that happens. Have a great time! I have a couple weeks to go before my fourth Eisley show. _________________ INTELLECT AND ROMANCE OVER BRUTE FORCE AND CYNICISM Smokemonster |

i've taken photos at none photo shows. just get in the middle and a few people away from the front. pull camera out and have it ready. when security aren't looking.. *flash* put camera away fast and pray for no motion blur. or do american shows always have searches at the door? when i saw beastie boys at wembley arena they searched bags and stuff. |

Yeah, they usually do a "search". It's not a very thorough search, like they usually just ask the ladies to please open up our purses while they look inside quickly. And if people have backpacks or messenger bags, they usually take a quick peek inside of 'em too. But I don't think they find things to confiscate because by that time everyone wisened up and hid their cameras in a secret pocket or something like that. It's funny how the security try to find out who took the picture and try to take their camera away from them. They're always so earnest about it too! If I was the security guard (and that would never happen), I would just be too much into the music to care about fans taking pictures. _________________ "I cannot discuss your verses; for any attempt at criticism would be foreign to me. One time, my friend's brother (works as an usher/bouncer) told me he was enjoying seeing The Used so much that by the time he realized there was a fight going on in one of his aisles, four people were unconscious. He probably would have gotten in trouble for gross negligence, but he was able to convince his boss that there had been some other matter calling his attention in another aisle. _________________

The picture thing all depends on the venue, as has previously been mentioned. Which sucks because the venue I will be seeing Eisley at does not allow cameras (House of Blues). But I will try my darndest to sneak it in!! I hope you have tons of fun and you get to meet the band. They're usually quite good about meeting fans. _________________ - Jessica ------------------------------------------------------- "So many bands are like painters standing in front of their paintings going, 'Look at me, I did this.' It is frustrating when venues do not allow people to bring in cameras even if the bands do. I think it a has to do with legal issues. I know that you are not allowed to take pictures of your friends in Starbucks. Places like House of Blues definitely have that same thing in place. Boyd cannot even video tape our own kid's band at House of Blues. If he were to do it, and it ever showed up on the web, HOB would sue. They say they don't want people profiting from their establishment. I personally think that it's because, if something were to show up in a photo, or video that could prove to be a violation, or could be used in a court situation, they are trying to cover their butts. I know it sucks, but it's probably just trying to protect their businesses. |
