but they are a nice addition. my mommy just came home with one of those russell stover chocolate bunnies, and mine has peanut butter in it.
(Sherri posted about it in her journal, so i'm not sure if this should be moved to general, or not..)
anyway, this should be an appreciation thread for their delightfulness! and the coolness of Eisley for having them!

Those things were always a little too much, for me. I've never had one of these bunnies 'til a little earlier when out of the blue my good mother brought me home one, and I was unsure about the peanut butter, but it turned out to be rather scrumptious.

Hahaha. But I heard the rabbit was a Christian, so it's okay that he virtually stole the limelight from Jesus..right? Wink

Chocolate bunnies are the perfect symbol for the this time of year since they represent spring fertility rites that pre-date Christ. I'm sure most people have heard the phrase f-f-f ... uh ... "fornicate" like bunnies. Chocolate seems to "grease the wheels" of humans in the procreation department. So the combination of the bunnies and chocolate seems perfect for a time of the year that was considered optimal for making babies in agrarian societies.
