alrighty there! who's all going to the Glasgow show? To celebrate the phenominum of Eisley coming, what say we have a meet-up? Nothing very elaborate. Probably just a meal or something at a neutral place (eg pizza hut or something) before going to the show. I estimate I could be in Glasgow by 6.00. My last exam ends at 3.40. Coming from Edinburgh, I could make the 5.00 train (getting changed at school and dumping my clothes in the car [dad=headmaster. so the car should be there]. what think? _________________ She is handsome, she is pretty, she is the girl from Belfast City, she is courtin' one two three, please won't you tell me who is she? I have no idea when i will get there but gonna need to be earlyish but thing is i'm probably goin for a little tipple beforehand since we're off college that day plus if i'm standing in line with scene kids for at least an hour i need a drink in me. I'll probably be in Rufus where i should definetly request Eisley...that'd go down well... _________________ Last 5 Plays:

does anyone have their ticket yet? I'm still to pick mine up. what time do the doors open? I won't be able to hang around in the queue for hours, for the simple reason of my exam. But I really want to be as far forward as I can. Surely an hour or so before doors open will do the trick? _________________ She is handsome, she is pretty, she is the girl from Belfast City, she is courtin' one two three, please won't you tell me who is she? when I saw Embrace at the Corn Exchange we went for the support (Morning RUnner). We planned on getting there before doors opened (7.00), but ended up getting there at about half past. we were kinda slap bang in the middle. But it was fun, because that meant whilst I strutted my stuff and acted like the total Morning Runner fan Embrace fans were able to come up to me and ask who they were. So I wouldn't mind terribly by being in the middle. I'll talk to my mum later and see if I could get a lift to get there quick. Craig and mine homing skills = terrible. to a place neither of us ahve been = even worse. _________________ She is handsome, she is pretty, she is the girl from Belfast City, she is courtin' one two three, please won't you tell me who is she? dont the bands start around 8'oclock anyway for the barrowlands. i know the garage starts early, but thats because they have club nights after the gig finishes. barrowlands is a shithole really. but you get to see homeless people fighting. always passes the time |

the crapness in the barrowlands makes it good. When i went to see funeral for a friend last summer there they had 3 support bands i think and the first guy (Jonah Matranga, Onelinedrawing) was just finishing, that was getting there reasonably early. It's happened to a few shows at the barrowlands where the kick-off starts on 7 or round 7-15, still no harm gettin there early...bums are funny! _________________ Last 5 Plays:

The Barrowlands is a terrible place. honestly horrible. eisley need to watch out for anything that walks past them, and i'm not even kidding. I've seen homeless men with urine and... even worse, down their own trousers I've seen fights outside HORRIBLE. i HATE the venue, i HATE the city but i love the band[s] so i guess i'll have to attend. sheesh! should be a good night! haha _________________ The Barents Sea |
