Setlist (I think):- Mr Pine Marvelous Things Memories Golly Sandra Taking Control Head Against the Sky Invasion Oh wow. Eisley were totally amazing. The academy venue was really good. Great EQ, good balance of sound, plus 2 levels with balcony. Hellogoodbye were really good. Their keyboard stopped working so the keys guy hummed some of the tune with his mouth. As usual a mad outro where they play Shimmy shimmy something - like a dance remix of that song, and guys dressed up as a shark and food and stuff came onstage and began play-fighting, and the beat changed at one point and the keys guy began rapping!!!! Eisley arrived with Mr Pine which was a great opener. The whole energy was totally different. Crowd WAY more receptive than manchester, and the girls could tell because they were talking more between songs, and actually making eye contact and smiling. Head against the sky was played and naturally i wet myself. the chorus is so powerful live, i love it. My favourite part of the gig was Taking Control - the new song, where at the outro, its just sherri and stacy acapella singing these two amazing harmonies, so beautful. Im tired right now, so this is brief, but they were great, and were totally themselves in full energy. Thankyou Eisley and thankyou all Birmingham peeps for making it so special. Namaste. |

Aa where abouts were you?? Queued from 2 to get tto the front, that I did, but soon got pushed out by the not so friendly fans. I never understand it, you're all there for the same reason why push people around? Anyway So when eisley came on I was a little hysterical. Saying to my friend 'I hope they play mr pine and head against the sky!' Opening with mr pine was amazing. it felt like i was the only one cheering when the songs ended in my area but that was all good. And meeting the girls after was also amazing. so down to earth and friendly! for the record i was bottom right of the stage ha! |

Birmingham was really really good, tbh alot of the crowd didn't seem into it, but I loved it so much =) I was in the middle front with my arms up and singing along =D I only just got back home from it.. soo tired :S I waited outside the gig for ages hoping to meet you guys (eisley) but to no avail.. I had to meet HGB, and TBS instead lol.. which was good.. but I coulda given Eisley a good hug from me ^^ Great music.. great set.. I'd love to see them at a more intimate gig sometime =D hope you like england.. and hope it gets sunny too! Nice one! _________________ Hi, I am a jolly old British lad. Whom is a Photographer. i was there. i watched. i photographed. i filmed a little. i met boyd. then i met the beautifullest girls. then i hugged the beautifullest girls. then the got coffee. then i talked to boyd a little more. then i gave him my new tee polaroid camera. then he went to the dressing room. then he came back with a signed red tee and 8 polaroids. one polaroid of each band member. one of sound and stage crew dudes. one of boyd. and one of sharpie enhanced cyber boyd. then i was even more happier. then i realised that Eisley had successfully stolen another fan's sharpie. thieving texan beauties. Eisley are love. |
