ok so i kno this may have been pointed out before..but i can't help but say this: why is all the focus on chauntelle sherri and stacy? i mean it's really disappointing to hear ppl talk bout eisley and not even mention jonathan or weston. like i was looking through a link this guy posted of his pictures of "eisley"...it was only some stacy..alot of sherri..and a little of chauntelle. and out of 40 pictures..only 1 of weston. i duno..it just seems a little disrespectful. ok i'm done. ciao. _________________ my xanga

Speaking as a person who has taken pictures at 5 of the 6 Eisley shows I've been to... getting a picture of Weston (much less a decent one) has been virtually impossible for me. Jon is a bit easier... but still not terribly easy. _________________ "If you're a ninja, every day is like friday." -Jamie M. |

another thing - i never get to talk with the guys at shows. i don't know it it's because they don't like talking with people, or they think no one wants to talk to them. but i'd like to just as much as i talk to anyone else. so yeah. i think i'm probably repeating things i said in the other thread.. _________________ hello. |

Yeah, they're just a little harder to track down (in my experience). Although Weston seems like a pretty nice and friendly guy. Jonathan has been a little harder to track down for me. I got a CD signed for my friend at the New Year's show... and I totally forgot to get Jon's signature. He disappeared... and I planned to find him later... and I never did. -sigh- _________________ "If you're a ninja, every day is like friday." -Jamie M. |

I've said it before, and I'll say it again: Jonathon Wilson and Weston DuPree are the rhythm section of the future. Actually, they're great now, but they'll be even better. _________________ My photography:www.jamiemphoto.com You can't spell awesome without emo...backwards! -Julie definingawesome (11:44:11 PM): Eisley shivers our timbers |

I try harder and harder to capture images of the guys. On most of the Texas Tour shows, Weston was in pitch black. Anyway, they're amazing; as people and (young) musicians. _________________ EisleyWebGuy "The industrialists never saw the fruit of their own labor - Post Moderism, which I now proclaim as dead. I'm sorry, I did take more of Jon than what I uploaded but they all came out really dark. Also most of them were of sherri because she was right in front of me. I wasn't really happy with all the ones i took of weston, I just couldn't get a good angle most of the time. Sorry. _________________ I'll be the platform shoes and undo what heredity's done to you: You won't have to strain to look into my eyes. |

I should start calling Weston Cymbal Eyes because that's how most of my pictures turn out. That and the lighting thing ... The music world has a shortage of lighting. Well, I found three cast off pictures from Austin:
He really is playing. I was just shooting with a 300mm lens in a small place.
That head at the bottom is kind of annoying ... I should have cropped it out. No time now, though. Just imagine it's not there.
He too really is playing in this picture. _________________ My photography:www.jamiemphoto.com You can't spell awesome without emo...backwards! -Julie definingawesome (11:44:11 PM): Eisley shivers our timbers |
