i'm Atheist, but i think the point of this thread was to see how many minority people of color there are that you might stereotypically see at a rap concert or something.

I'm not even sure I'd say half the active forum users are religious. Maybe by statistcs it's a majority, but the number nowadays is much more average. Maybe you had more of a Christian majority back when I first got involved. I mean you have people start topics concerning their Christian beliefs, we just don't have people starting a lot of threads about things like "hey, doesn't Eisley just confirm your disbelief in God?"

Though it might be funny if we did.

P.S. About racial minorities, I think it depends on what area you're in. I remember one person bringing up that he felt that Hispanics were looked down on at an Eisley show he went to. But I happen to know that's far from the truth. And I've been to shows where there were plenty of Hispanic people. So it seems to be to be clearly regional. And maybe societally, stereotypes would have black people at rap shows and so on. So I think that heavily affects listening habits of people of other races. Kinda sucks, and I hope it continues to change.

I love Eisley, and I am an Italian NOT Irish redhead.

Onle FOUR PERCENT?! Alas...

I've seen a lot of Italian redheads. Like Mario Batali...

And I think the thing about most Irish people having red hair is a stereotype. My mom said when she was there, most people were brunettes.

I am 100% mexicana! Speak spanish, go to mexico in the summer, eat enchiladas and listen to mariachi. I love me my eisley. It's funny because today at dinner my dad was like "Melissa, you're the one that least listens to spanish music." and i said "Dad, that's because I'm too busy listening to Eisley!" lol.

Another person from San Jose?! I'm from there too, but I'm surprised there's quite a few boardies from SJ. Eisley should play there next time!

They should play at The Cave near my school and house. Wink

.. That place is usually used for hardcore shows though.

I am a 1/4 Italian and a natural redhead and I have Irish heritage as well, but my percentage of Irish is much smaller than my percentage of Italian. I do not look Italian at all. Haha.

how does it feel to be the minority (at least in this thread) now? Wink

Well, now they're not excluded.

Don't get me wrong, I love Kyle to death, but it seems this thread is geared toward non-whites, which is kind of exclusive. Adding together non-whites actually makes whites the minority, beings how they're a relatively small part of the earth's population.

This seems like a great place if any to not be concerned about race. Hopefully it doesn't seem like Eisley should be music for mostly white people. I don't think that's the case.

I was at that show too! I got asked for money about 5 times, but not for drugs! I can't believe people were smoking pot at the concert... how lame do you have to be to get stoned at an Eisley concert? No offense Eisley.

i think beside me and my family we were the only mexican/natives at the biola show. I didn't see any others. Also saw two Asian dudes in front of me. Most of them were white kids.
