"lost at sea" gets me to tear up more often than not, actually.

it happens with a lot of songs in general, not just songs by eisley

It's funny really. I was about to post that while I am often deeply moved by Eisley's songs, I've never been quite brought to tears by them before.

Then, upon reading this thread and following patrock's link, I came to hearing One More Day With You for the first time. That song is so beautiful, I just can't even describe the feeling it gave me, and the tears did start flowing. It's a wonder if anyone can listen to that without crying. Just wow.

I've only cried for "Head Against the Sky" "Memories" and "Just Like We Do"... and that's because they've been tied in with some events in my life.

I shiver and get chills when I listen, but I've never actually cried. I think the only song I've really ever cried while listening to was Regina Spektor's Chemo Limo.

I use to never cry at/because of things like music, or movies, etc. BUT lately I've been a bit of a sap.

That said, I know I've teared up at song very recently. And very recently the only songs that could have done that to me are Eisley songs, but I have no idea which one it was.

With music sometimes its connected to events that conjur up a memory but other times its really the combination of music and/or vocals. A lot of times that's the case with Eisley.

I don't really understand how people could cry during songs unless it had some strong emotional tie to an event in their life.

Either that or you're listening to the song and Mr. T comes out and sucker punches you. That could make you cry during a song.

Memories makes me cry. as have a few other songs. I guess Eisley often helps me through hard times when I feel down. They give me a lot of joy, which can lead to tears from happiness. and now I'm all emotional and embarassed. Music is amazing. Exclamation Exclamation Exclamation
