This was prompted by the insanity still going on in the dating thread (shakes head), but I wanted to share it with the general forum. It will be updated from time to time so "Watch yourself!" as my good friend Mystical says. I am so far behind that have decided that there is only one way for me to relate and catch up in one fell swoop. That is right...it is time for the Eisley Forum Power Rankings Debut!!! Some of you may be familiar with music billboard charts, some with fantasy football rankings. This represents a combined total of all of their resepctive power. Observe: boyd (+77.99) (Heez da big daddy wid a gat (or shotgun), straight phat, da paragon of decorum, actually I want him ta make me ma own forum) litherian (+42.001) (Luke has much love) So Cal Oasis (+22.37) (Makes me laugh everytime, fart jokes are never old) incucoldhouse (+21.6) (The only girl to fully brave the scary tunnel of pining males) bgburroughs (+15.83) (The right word at the right time, limber and lythe) Gameboybob (+9.345) (A true romantic with good taste in movies...LOTR) EisleyForever (+8.888887) (Grandfather clause, veterans eat free) kris (+4.02) (Solid performance elsewhere, just showed up here) rmlawrence (+2.43) (Came on strong at the end) Homesick Alien (+.089) (The pluses and minuses cancel out) potato (+.4333333) (rock solid but lacking flare) Swiss Army Roamance (-3.46) (Chris Carabba is not that cool) The Antrider (-5.55) (little too much girl chatter and a tabloid producer!) Glassuser (-7.97) (commenting on SO Cal's reproductive woes) Sweet Marie (-12.5) (It's a robot named Sweet Marie!, robots don't get high rankings) BK (-12.51) (Too much Sherri talk) GuestGuest (-87.9999999) (For starting this whole blamed mess) Ok I provided explanations as a firsttime courtesy Don't ever play me like that again Theogenes PS You may wonder why sherri "the contributor" is not included in the rankings. ARE YOU KIDDING ME! The dating thread has caused her to take on unrankable, ethereal status. I'm not sure if she even really exists anymore!?!?! Ohh wait, I met her in Phoenix...nevermind. _________________ The pain and the longing, the joy and the moments of light, are the rhythm and rhyme, the free verse of the poem of life. |

HMM?! brandon? _________________ If the end of the world has proper noodles I'll probably be okay with it. |

Ok EisleyForever, I apologize if I have offended. Let me clean up house a bit. First, I put in a disclaimer at the bottom about everyone being pretty stinkin rad. I should probably elaborate. The numbers shouldn't be focused on because they are all relative. I contemplated putting in all positives and maybe I'll do that for the next one Second, these are POWER rankings. They represent current power based on RECENT performance, namely the dating thread. I can hardly be expected to read everything that has ever been posted Third, I had to be quick about the comments, and I couldn't say "rock solid" for everyone. Yours was kind of just a joke because people seemed to pay deference to you because of your thousands of posts...and your comments were "rock solid" Fourth, sorry about the gender issue. I have always thought they should have a gender portion on our profiles (although a grandfather clause may apply to both genders...its just a a legal term) Fifth, I have to stand behind my Chris Carabba statements...notice I didn't say he is not cool. Sixth, I am very sure that Antrider and potato will be coming up soon. I have greatly appreciated potato elsewhere (one again the POWER concept). That is all...as I said it is kind of my attempt to add to the insanity. One fellow'z opinion. Much love, Theogenes _________________ The pain and the longing, the joy and the moments of light, are the rhythm and rhyme, the free verse of the poem of life. |
