Sorry, it was a cruel joke.

See the tiny text for my confession.

"not actually"

If you press the quote button over my reply, you'll notice the dots at the bottom are actually just small text.

People use this technique infrequently to let people know they are joking.

=)

One thing you can actually do is subscribe to certain bands on ticketmaster (I think). That way, they will email you when they do have tickets available for whatever bands you want to see.

I think the tickets for the spring tour will be available when the spring tour is announced.

Boyd will make sure we're the first to know, probably even before Ticketmaster has information.

I was looking at their myspace and saw this little bit of info from Boyd:

"WB wants to release the new record on April 1st, so... there's likely to be a SXSW show followed by a kick off tour."

If they headline, it will almost certainly be general admission. So no hurry. If they open, then I'm sure Boyd will give us a heads up so we're not left out in the cold. I hope.

There are discussions about a Spring headlining tour, but nothing is sealed in stone... the realm of possibility includes but is not limited to a kick off Warner Bros Records showcase at dear old SXSW, followed by a headlining run of US/Canada.

For all you not-in-the-know's, South by SouthWest is the largest music industry conference in the world. Bands are showcased to an international, national, regional, local audience of music lovers, industry officianados... like label folk, press people, producers, agent, promoters, writers, publicists, video directors, publishers... on and on. Australia has like 38 bands represented this year...and you'd better bet, their press machines will be all over the US bands they think will be hot in their country. With Eisley having a new record hitting the shelves in only a week or so after their gig, I expect there to be tons of good press.

Again, none of this is actual... My guess, unless some ridiculous tour offer comes in, I think this is what WB/management/band want to do. But yes.... I'll keep you guys posted. The minute we know something, I'll let you know... even before routing is nailed down. Thanks. Ya'll are amazing. bd
