first of all, for the live setup, are y'all using a shure system? if so, how's it working out? second off, who uses what earphones? i think i saw that jon had some e5s that he wasnt using yet? cant recall. i'm just wondering how its treating you. i've been using a shure p4hw with e1 earphones for about a year and a half now (because i dont need the wireless, after all, it's just me...the hardwired does fine). but the thing's so damn finicky. the p4m personal mixer i use is fine, but it seems the bodypack is sketchy at best. anyway, mostly just curious. thanks OH and one more thing, Jon Buckland told me over the summer, during a conversation after the first Red Rocks show, that Mr. Paltrow...er...i mean Martin had a metronome pumping into his IEM...I was wondering if any of you have tried that...sort of a decent idea if youre going nuts like he is. Cheers. _________________ knives don't have your back. |

I mean "BUFORD". He was EISLEY'S monitor guy on the last two tours. That is all I meant Feel free to ask questions like that anytime. I just thought that BUFORD would be able to give you in depth answers. Good luck! thanks ot wasnt by any means a serious technical question. i grilled boyd about it for at least twenty seconds. i got everything i needed out of him _________________ knives don't have your back. |

Im using the psm 400 right now with some e2 headphones its a lovely system I really dont see any reason for e5s there just too expensive. But I love in ears and suggest them to anyone in any situation live practice or recording, yes I said recording just because there not bulky and will give the same quality sound as a good set of headphones without the bulk. |
