I was skimming through my Blender issue from like Septenber or something, cuz I'm moving, and I was throwing out stuff, but I didn't wanna trough the reason why I bought it...the Radiohead interview. So I took the pages of and kept them, and then just like skimming through it before trashing it, I find a little page that talks about Eisley! And when I got it, I hadn't realized cuiz I'd never heard of them by that time. But musn't it felt SO good for them to be in the same issue where Thoms picture's on the cover? I think that's such a great coincidence... _________________ An apt and true reply was given to Alexander the Great by a pirate who had been seized. I can't think of a greater compliment to Eisley....sheesh....Radiohead and Eisley...does any other music exist? _________________ Nature's first green is gold, Her hardest hue to hold. That's awesome, but I have been rediscovering KENT today, as I drove back from dropping EISLEY at DFW airport. They're no RADIOHEAD, but if you haven't discovered them, you should. |

That Creep song is great. I sang that in one of my acting classes a few semesters ago. (one of our assignments was to pick any song and sing it in front of the class on stage, so I chose that one) But truth be told, that's probably the only one of their songs I know. I got an A too, haha. Beat it, -DV1 |

I wouldn't say that too loud guys, I'm pretty sure Thom would strangle you for saying you like "that Creep song." But, I guess if you don't listen to Radiohead and want 5 songs to give you a good taste of them, I'd say "Street Spirit," "Idioteque," "2+2=5," "Paranoid Android" and maybe "Pyramid Song." Trying to reduce Radiohead to five songs would be like trying the same with The Beatles. Too many albums, too many different sounds to try and sum them up in any real way. Not getting into Radiohead cause they're "popular," despite little to no radio/tv play, is really a travesty. They're one of the few bands that actually live up to hype around them. Radiohead, and Eisley, of course .... |

Those are some awesome songs. But I'd still say it's incomplete. I'd add "Climbing up the walls", "Lucky", "Exit Music(for a film)" and "True love waits" the acoustic version. Oh, and I couldn't agree more with Sergio. Even when then don't have the same media atention as, let's say, Maddona, they are still a popular band. But that doesn't change the fact that they are a kick-ass band. _________________ An apt and true reply was given to Alexander the Great by a pirate who had been seized. Hey if you love Thom's voice then you need to hear Lee Bozeman. I love radiohead like nobodys business, but I thing Lee sounds even better then Thom. You need to check out his old Luxury stuff, or his new solo project All Things Bright and Beautiful. You can dl a few mp3s at www.leebozeman.com You should particularly listen to "attractive & unattractive" This man needs massive publicity and studio time. _________________ "Fame is lust to be loved, and fortune is to live off the fat of the land" - Lee Bozeman "Throw your home work on to the fire, and go out and find the one that you love." -Morrissey |
