+ eisley| Blackened Crown (live) Austin, Tx http://www.vimeo.com/clip:158844 I really like this song. I wish it would show up as a b-side or something. I'll even take a live version recorded on the road. Anyways I found this video on my hard drive and uploaded it. I have another one somewhere I have to find again. |

He probably made it. We should all beg loudly for Eisley to play this on their headlining tour. It's been on the shelf long enough, and when they headline, they can afford to stick one oldie in there. They've been known to listen to such fan begging in the past ... _________________ My photography:www.jamiemphoto.com You can't spell awesome without emo...backwards! -Julie definingawesome (11:44:11 PM): Eisley shivers our timbers |

They played it for a good part of 2004, and I think even a couple of times in 2005. _________________ My photography:www.jamiemphoto.com You can't spell awesome without emo...backwards! -Julie definingawesome (11:44:11 PM): Eisley shivers our timbers |

Unless they decide to save us the trouble and early loss of voices by starting the set off with it. _________________ Thistledown |

Well maybe we can just keep bringing it up on here; we can save ALL our voices plus make it less annoying since they already have it planned in the show. But yes, I would LOVE if they started playing that song live. I loved the early Eisley tunes, but the honest and desperateness (yeah that's probably not a word I know ) of that song gets me each time I listen. I love Mr. Pine, and don't want that to go from the old songs that they may still play...But been there, done that! Throw "Blackened Crown" and "Laughing City" in there, I'll pass out from happiness. |

Oh no, in-show requests are much harder. They've rehearsed for it and they have a set list. I've only seen that work once or twice. (Oddly enough, for Blackened Crown, but it was a homecoming show/tour finale and they had been playing it fairly recently.) Here would definitely be the best place for organized song begging. _________________ My photography:www.jamiemphoto.com You can't spell awesome without emo...backwards! -Julie definingawesome (11:44:11 PM): Eisley shivers our timbers |

Dream For Me is my personal favorite, but Blackened Crown is pretty good to _________________ But I cannot discover any advantage except in honor, in glory, and in right action. Therefore I consider these goals to be primary and supreme over all others. Cicero |

I'd love to hear this live too. I'd also like to hear Sun Feet thrown in for this upcoming headlining tour (encore), seeing as how it should've been released as a b-side. _________________ I know how I was born and I know that I have no choice. Ha, yeah. That would be nice. Or at least a soundtrack, or a B-side ... or Album No. 3. _________________ My photography:www.jamiemphoto.com You can't spell awesome without emo...backwards! -Julie definingawesome (11:44:11 PM): Eisley shivers our timbers |
