i've been debating on what to say about this entry. but i know the girl that did this, we used to be friends. but it got to the point where she took all of this too far when she started posting songs, and i even warned her not to do it because the duprees didn't want them posted. she basically ignored me and did it anyways, i mean, i couldn't stop her from posting pictures, but songs were different. a lot of the pictures that were supposedly locked, weren't. before this whole eisley craze started, sherri had a bunch of them posted in her picturetrail years ago, and people had a lot of them saved, so you can't say most of them were hacked. but the songs were leaked from a "friend" of the duprees, and they were passed around, but still, only a few people have them. those came from them personally, and those were never EVER meant to be posted. i told her not to, like i said, but she insisted, and ignored me, and after all of this, i removed her, blocked her, etc, because i just can't believe she took it this far. she did this to another friend, i won't name her, but this is why they're not friends to this day as well.

i have a lot of respect for eisley, and the duprees, they're so nice, but i'm also sick of these rumors about them that are getting started by their supposed "fans" it's been taken a bit far, and if you don't know what i mean, you can probably look through some of the comments from some PE posts.

sorry, i just needed to say this.

wow this topic is very epic in a horrible and stupid way.

My condolences to the Duprees for their breach of privacy.

wings, thanks for posting that. this whole thing has gotten crazy and I'm sure that when these guys release this new album(s) and they gain fame and everything the Duprees stand against. It will be very interesting to see how these guys handle their expierence in this industry. These demos will become infamous.

Does the person who did this have any regret of what they did? Seeing how they knew the reaction it would get and knew that the files were stolen. I'm sure they didn't think twice when it was happening. I guess if they didn't care then, they don't care now.

I have seen people more obessed with other groups, but I think with this band they seem so relatable and so easy to meet/talk to/get to know on more than a usual band to fan level and that makes it a little different/worse. I had never been to PE before and after seeing it even I was a little creaped out. I am sorry for the kids in the band. I'm sorry for Christie. I'm sorry for their dog...Kayla...Kim....Boyd..and anyone else who may feel attacked by sites like that (I sure as hell know I would be scared for, not really my life and the life of people around me, but of what people might do. People are crazy.). But Duprees are different and I'm sure they have been aware of this for a while and have been preparing themselves for anything. It has been noticed that somethings have changed as the tours go on and now I really understand why. Not everyone can be trusted. Anyone can pretty much do anything to those who put themselves out there. Hope everything continues like it has.

honestly, i don't think she cares. she moderated membership to block LC members from joining and commenting, and i left yesterday after what she did and i'm creating my own community, and we're working on another eisley site as well.

i feel bad for christie because she gets most of the crap, ya know? and kayla, especially after sherri told people not to post pictures of her, they continued. it just got bad. the only thing they care about is stacy and chad, and sherri and jesse. it's like... stacy and chad never had a thing going, and sherri is never getting back with jesse, you need to get over it. i had a talk with kim about this, jesse has moved on, it's over, they don't want to spread bad rumors about him, they're not that type, but people keep it going at that place. that was another reason for me leaving, i just want to be a fan of their music now, not their personal lives. like i was when i started to get into them.

there is no way that the PE comes anywhere close to this except in people's paranoid brains.

haha seriously, talk about making a mountain out of a molehill. It's just a website, and if it's on greatest journal it's populated by what? 14 year old girls? (Not saying 14 year old girls can't be kinda scary though... I've been to the mall lately!) But for some reason it just doesn't seem like a Red Alert crisis to me. Laughing

Haha, it's not me. It's the story...
And I'm not saying PE is like that in anyway... I was just saying how if obsession is taken too far, scary things can happen...

I hope that that there aren't any insane Eisley fans out there.

that is exactly what you said.
to use your reasoning i could say
last night it was rainy and really windy. i remember this one time it was rainy and windy in louisiana then hurricane katrina hit new orleans.
i sure hope it doesn't rain and get real windy there.

i appreciate the effort and the warning but it is faulty.

I'm confused...

I think I see where you're coming from now.

My 'Some people' part I was referring to the fan-girl and her family, and not people from the PE. What's on the PE isn't 'insane' it's just creepy... but a father committing suicide because a stranger wouldn't spend time with her is insane.

And when I say 'I hope...' I wasn't being sarcastic in any way... I just hope that there aren't people like the fan-girl with the same obsession for Eisley... or any other celebrity for that matter.

I was not saying that this incident will repeat itself in the PE... I'm sorry if I suck at communication.

Oh I'm sorry, I didn't exactly mean to single you out. You communicated your point pretty well! Or in any case I understand what you mean. There will always be crazies out there, but unless Eisley ascends to the level of Britney Spears (or descends? hard to decide on that one) I think they'll be alright.

I was really just trying to make a general statement about how silly it is to make a big deal out of something like a journal website. Seems a little overly dramatic. Unless they're all plotting together to kidnap the family dog I really don't see why people are getting so bothered. Razz

Hm, I just now have a chance to respond to this after a few days. No doubt, some people have a sad lack of respect for personal boundaries, however, we can only get so worked up about this. We should always push for respect, but fixating over disrespect gets too stressful way too fast (I know that one from experience). Do what you can, act respectful and try to spread respect, but it seems like it will always be there. The world changes one person and one act at a time. Maybe we can show someone how to respectfully treat people and stop giving attention to the disrespectful people who thrive on it if we just try to do what we can with what we do.

I've got a headache now ... So I'm posting this.

All of you are pretty awesome.

Once again, none of us dupree's are on the opposite side of the fence from any of you. We're not special. Eisley doesn't think they're special. It's hard for them to even understand all the fuss... good and bad. We talk about it all the time.

I don't need to tell you again because I think you all know... 4 inspired siblings formed a band, wrote some songs... played shows, recorded some records... that may or may not be forgotten in a few years; this is simply the saga of their journey.

You guys are a part of it... every rumor, every misunderstanding, every grumble, every encouragement, every victory, every defeat, every blog, every photo taken, every myspace favorite, every word spoken to a friend, - good or bad.

$#@! happens; songs leak; people talk crap. You move on... and learn that you can't win 'em all. You try to appreciate the journey - knowing it could all end tomorrow. Life is a vapor. Try not to live it with regrets.

I think I need to go outside and take a deep breath of Spring.
