There is either a pedal steel or a lap steel guitar played by Casey Prestwood of Hot Rod Circuit.

Hey, we're not fighting! And I honestly think the steel makes the song.

The song definitely has a different feel without it. I like it equally both ways and I love the UGO acoustic version of the song.

I hear the lap steel, one main guitar part, drums and bass. When they play it live,(or rather acoustic) I hear Stacy's keyboard and a little picking part that both Sherri plays, that I can't hear in the recorded version. And I do agree that it i difficult to hear the keyboard, for example in such Eisley songs as Lost at Sea, I wasn't Prepared, Memories, Trolleywood, etc.

I DON'T think it's that different from the regular version, except Sherri might be strumming the D and Bm chords during the verse rather than her usual picking part
