So I am getting married in October and I'm thinking of doing a cover of this on my wedding to sing to my fiance =D This song is so sweet. But I play piano, not guitar. Has anyone transcribed this onto piano before? I'm just wondering if it sounds anywhere near as nice. Or is there an Eisley piano version? I doubt it, but figured I'd ask. Thanks! |

I know somebody here covered "Just Like We Do" on piano. I just can't remember who... _________________ INTELLECT AND ROMANCE OVER BRUTE FORCE AND CYNICISM Smokemonster |

Yeah ... hm. I don't think they come around much anymore. But I do think they had video of it. Hopefully someone else remembers it. _________________ My photography:www.jamiemphoto.com You can't spell awesome without emo...backwards! -Julie definingawesome (11:44:11 PM): Eisley shivers our timbers |

I think it would sound lovely with just chords on piano. However, if you have a lot of time on your hands, you could just transcribe some guitar tabs over to piano, it shouldn't be anything too difficult. EDIT: In fact, I might try to see what I can plunk out on piano for this song, if I come up with anything good I'll let you know. I'll be home in two weeks to see if it's worth a recording or not. _________________ EisleyForever wrote: you're A-list in my heart! MAKECOLDPLAYHISTORY |

Maybe you should upload it at Multiply.com. It's like myspace but less interesting and more uploady. _________________ If the end of the world has proper noodles I'll probably be okay with it. |

Ironically, I just tried to make a cover of this song today, but the vocals were @#%, so I threw it away. However, I did keep the stereo mix of the piano track if you want to hear that. The singing would actually being two measures after that chromatic bit in the beginning, I didn't feel like working out the guitar picking part on piano, >_< Keep in mind this is in Ab, the original key is E (I prefer it lower to suit my baritone voice.) http://www.snapdrive.net/files/345757/just%20like%20we%20do.mp3 _________________ EisleyForever wrote: you're A-list in my heart!
