Hipsters? theyre obnoxious people who insist that they know more about musick than you do and think theyre gods gift to the musick scene basically. i love indie, i go to coffee shops, i wear vintage stuff and high tops, but i dont shove everything i know about musick in your face, and act like i own the entire "scene". Theyre so unbelievably pretentious. but like other buzz words like "emo" its starting to have a negative contentation. if you call someone a hipster, theyll most likely get offended. unless they ARE a hipster. than theyll order an obscure locally made beer and start talking about how the band thats playing combines the emotion of morrisey with the asthetics of the smiths, or some absolute drivle like that. they infest williamsburg like cockroaches. i cant go to a show anywhere in brooklyn without being annoyed by at least one. _________________ thats why you don't leave the air conditioner on. |
