Who did you support in last year's final.

Even though I'm half Italian and live in Italy, I'm not ashamed to say I was 100% for France. Can't stand the current Italian team.

Just out of curiosity - because I heard many people supported Italy only because they dislike France and I didn't like this, there are so many stupid prejudices against France. Such a beautiful country and culture.
And home to the best player in the world --> THIERRY HENRY

I love France and speaking but French, but I severely dislike their team. I was totally for Italy, and very glad that they won. but of course my favorite team is Spain.

Lol is there a specific reason?

I used to support Italy but football has become a cheating business in this country and all they do is dive like Grosso against Australia, or make horrible karate fouls like Materazzi.

But I love the French team, they play beautifully and they've got some of the world's best. It's just a pity that Zidane's career had to end like that.
He should have caught up with Materazzi after the game not during it.

I wasn't really for either, but I think France are the better team. I'm really a Brasil fan.

How about the U.S. team, they were quite amazing in 2002.
I usually support Germany, but I was for the U.S. in that game. It was Kahn who saved the day for the Panzers.
My favourite teams: The Netherlands, Switzerland, France, Finland, Uruguay and South Africa Very Happy

Yes. They caused Spain to not play anymore. That brings undying dislikehatred from me. I won't say they "beat" them. no. never. They just caused them to have no more games. mmmhmm.
and I just liked to watch Italy. Smile

Haha love the euphemism Wink
Spain is a good team, but they're just like England - they have the potential but lack the final touch to clinch the title.

Eww, the Jazz.

Sorry, 1997-1998 Bulls fan damage. ha. I did think the Jazz were pretty cool this past season ...

I don't follow the NBA that much but I used to support Seattle Sonics (with Gary Payton) and Memphis Grizzlies.

That's cool. I vaguely keep up wtih the NBA and a little MLB (but mainly for the Yankees). That's about as deep as I go into sports fandom. Though I can talk about baseball, football or basketball. But that mainly comes from friends and from being in newspapers and needing to talk the talk when I do sports. ha

Well I watch football, tennis (FEDERER), skiing, sailing (ALINGHI), F1 racing (BMW SAUBER), Ice Hockey World Cup and some swimming.

I love sports! Especially hiking, football, kayaking, table tennis, skiing (with blades), beachvolley, beachsoccer and short-distance races.

What about you?
