Post subject: Trust me this does have to do with eisley. eventually.
Posted: Tue Jun 26, 2007 2:41 pm ill make the story short. i went to an indigo girls concert at ravinia and it turns out that brandi carlile was the opener (my luck!). i got her autograph and when i did i said "i heard of you through a band called eisley. you have some big fans on their forum." she said "eisley? i love eisley! you have great taste in music" so there you go. brandi carlile loves eisley. just thought it was an interesting fact. (it was a good show too). _________________ Say something witty, dammit! http://kimschaefer.bandcamp.com/ http://youtube.com/kimschaefermusic |

That sounds like a pretty rad story. Lots of rad bands like each other. Even lots of bad bands like Eisley. I totally read that as meaning "lots of bad bands such as Eisley" instead of "lots of bad bands listen to Eisley." I was about to punch you (through my computer screen). _________________ ASTER (i'll think of a clever signature someday.) |

I absolutely <3 Brandi Carlile. Both of her albums are great. I first heard her music on Grey's Anatomy. Really moving stuff. It's great that someone who makes completely different-sounding music can appreciate a band as awesomely offbeat as Eisley. _________________ |

(this does mean something: go figure) yeah... that's cool. But i freak when i meet bands like that. To be fair, the last time i did so was when i first saw the envy corps, and ran off to see Brand New through the other side of the country. one of 'em dug Brand New... _________________ She is handsome, she is pretty, she is the girl from Belfast City, she is courtin' one two three, please won't you tell me who is she?
