oh my..i can't seem to wait 
i'm going to piddle myself i have to control myself and NOT listen to the album on myspace its really hard though so for just a good reason i only allowed myself to lisen to one song other than invasion and i must say 'Come Clean' is really amazing good job, eisley! can't wait to hear the rest

I gave in; I couldn't help myself. 'Come Clean' is lovely; it makes you want to cry in that happy sort of way, like 'Brightly Wound' from the previous album. There are some fantastic songs -- some of them very different from the Eisley sound we're familiar with. 'A Sight To Behold' is very creeeepy, and the titular track 'Combinations' sounds like something from the imagination of Rufus Wainwright, with intricate instrumentation and rich, lyrical vocals. 'Taking Control' and 'Go Away' remind me of earlier Sixpence None The Richer. Has anyone else got a copy of the CD yet? I picked mine up today -- yes, four days ahead of schedule -- because the record store phoned me and said it was in. Weird, eh? |
