I would love to see Eisley at Cornerstone again, that was when I first saw them play. However, I am almost positive Boyd said on this message board that Eisley would never return to Cornerstone. I don't know why. _________________ http://apturnofftheradio.blogspot.com |

I got that impression previously, too, but I talked to boyd on the phone earlier this summer (while at Cornerstone, which is why it came up, heh) and he said they would love to play there again, and they loved Cornerstone; they just hadn't been invited back since that 2nd year. _________________ "The revolution starts today, not tomorrow." :: got g-Love? |

I will definitely vote. The stars were alligned that year because I could only make it down to Cornerstone for 1 day. It just happened to be the day they were playing on the unsigned band showcase stage, and I just happened to be there! You knew from that 25 minute set that they had "it." |

Good to hear. I just voted, Eisley is in 2nd place. _________________ http://apturnofftheradio.blogspot.com |

I put Sufjan as my 2nd. Most of my other choices were ones that usually play there anyway (but are nonetheless fabulous); Rosie Thomas, Cool Hand Luke, Starflyer, The Violet Burning, etc. I found it humorous that after I voted, Eisley was #40 and U2 was #41. _________________ "The revolution starts today, not tomorrow." :: got g-Love? |

Currently number one. We're going to have to keep this up for a looong time. _________________ "The artist, like the God of creation, remains within or behind or beyond or above his handiwork, invisible, refined out of existence, indifferent, paring his fingernails."(J.Joyce) |

I doubt the poll is open until the festival, it hasn't been in the past. A couple months, maybe. You can only vote once anyway. _________________ "The revolution starts today, not tomorrow." :: got g-Love? |

If Eisley does play Cornerstone... I might actually just visit my grandparents in Illinois so maybe I could go up there and check 'em out. And I voted, they're still numero uno. _________________ "I cannot discuss your verses; for any attempt at criticism would be foreign to me.
