My typos, I'm usually good at reading an article while typing but I had to balance the magazine on my keyboard and it was causing all problems like covering the screen..and pure lazyness for the spell checking! |

yikes. reviewers review albums that are sent to them, many of them unsolicited. most likely he didn't seek out eisley just to bash them. someone from WB must've sent it to the mag (nice big-label marketing and PR for ya, not very discriminating who they send the cd to), so you can hardly blame the guy, he was just giving his opinion, like it or not. of course someone that works at a douche magazine like that wouldn't like eisley. different opinions make life interesting. i'd hardly get upset over what a kerrang writer says.... signed, jackass Kimbrtones wrote: ugh...^ is why I stay away from the review thread.

Except that the review was of the Reading festival show, not of Combinations itself. Maybe it's a different jackass? _________________ INTELLECT AND ROMANCE OVER BRUTE FORCE AND CYNICISM Smokemonster |

Middlebury College: Noteworthy for the 'moping and magic' line. That line, and the 'Eisley discovered the hounds of love' from another are my favorites so far. http://media.www.middleburycampus.com/media/storage/paper446/news/2007 /09/12/Arts/For-The.Record-2962295.shtml |

i've been checking Rolling Stone dot com ever since the album came out, but have not seen a review. i wonder if so many Eisley fans dissed their dissing of Eisley that they decided not to review them any more or something...or maybe Eisley did not send them a copy? anyone know? _________________ I am Torgo. That's the labels job, I believe. yes, i didn't actually mean Boyd sending them a package himself..............he'd probably put a bomb in it _________________ I am Torgo.
