Perhaps the SLUT thread was overstepping it, but it was always based on a mainstream news story that was repeatedly aired, even during family hours. My apologies if that offended anyone. On the Nora thing: You'll take notice that a majority of Nora's replies of late have been very helpful and not even remotely rude. If she's rude, I make sure it's taken care of. Trust me. And I wholeheartedly agree with Pantheon. This could have been taken care of on a PM to myself and/or Nora. These little spats just make it even more awkward for new people who are thinking of/trying to work their way in. _________________ My photography:www.jamiemphoto.com You can't spell awesome without emo...backwards! -Julie definingawesome (11:44:11 PM): Eisley shivers our timbers |

3 - Keep it clean and do not post illegal or offensive content. I'm not even going to get into what the mods do and don't do, since that doesn't change what the rules are and how we as regular old Laughing Citizens interact with them. mr pine wrote: 5 - Do not attack other Laughing City community users. going with what you said. i scrutinized with nora on what i felt was a violation of the rules. i did not resort to name calling unlike her, which is also a violation of the rues. In her original post, Nora called the thread creator "dude". Not the flamingest of attacks, there. She called you a jerk, but that was after you targeted her and called her snooty, so seems like fair play to me. mr pine wrote: crazemunkey said

that being said. no matter what the motive, being an ass, is still being an ass. and i know, cuz i can smell my own. And I repeat, Nora didn't do anything wrong in this thread. Want to call her out on something nasty she said? Do it in a thread where she actually said something nasty. Splahing on her for nothing in this thread just keeps it from sliding off of page one like it should. _________________ INTELLECT AND ROMANCE OVER BRUTE FORCE AND CYNICISM Smokemonster |

I just realized, the original issue resolved. And since no one can resist the final word, I'm going to cut it off before that's even a problem. Nothing is left that can't be resolved via PM. -Jamie _________________ My photography:www.jamiemphoto.com You can't spell awesome without emo...backwards! -Julie definingawesome (11:44:11 PM): Eisley shivers our timbers |
