i miss the thrift store casual look. no joke. when they all wore cutesy t shirts and chucks. but they ARE growin up. they look more mature than i do, fo sho. im almost 25 and still circle ridiculous cute things in the delias catalog. p.s. maybe they have an advertisement dealwith ben sherman. ben sherman is really unisexy and bland like. if i got free stuff i'd be wearing it too. |

there's got to be something better to do than tell the band their clothes and hair look bad. i should probably just stay out of this and not feed the thread but grrr. nora, what do you honestly think is going to come of this thread? are you trying to be mean and start something? i just don't get it. the band isn't a bunch of dolls we get to dress up and scrutinize. _________________ blog. check it. |

Nora and I were looking through recent photos of the band. It's fairly clear that their style has changed. We're bored. It's Friday. We have no lives. We think Eisley's clothes have gone in a different direction, and are speculating why. There's no reason not to. |

I think the style is pretty cute, they look professional and put together and they obviously feel comfortable in it. Everyone needs a new wardrobe here and there. _________________ my name's carrie and i love a good sandwich so if you have a sandwich, come roll with me!

(unlike those 80's rock bands). you know what, does ben sherman have a store in my mall? i'll find out. ( i guess their marketing is working) I really like that business casual look. |

I doubt they feel like dressing like they did four years ago. Though I've seen Stacy and Sherri in blazers many times over the last few years. Also, I would suspect a lot of it comes from the same photoshoots. I'd probably speculate that before some image push from Powers That Be. _________________ My photography:www.jamiemphoto.com You can't spell awesome without emo...backwards! -Julie definingawesome (11:44:11 PM): Eisley shivers our timbers |

Not that it matters, but I like the business casual and the hair contrast. Honestly, you can call anything a "gimmick." You can call the old thrift style a gimmick or the roll out of bed style a lot of "indie" bands do a gimmick. Doesn't necessarily make them more "real" or "legit" or sell outs if it is some endorsement thing. People who AREN'T infront of hundreds or thousands each night trying to promote themselves and their music think about style in some way and how they portray themselves in public (go to your nearest public school (Not that anyone directly said that, or I'm applying they ever had a "gimmick." Just saying, if you think about it too much you can get skeptical about almost anything. |

You can't expect them to remain the same, they get older and tastes grow as well. It's ridiculous to expect them to wear what they wore a few years back. They seem like an evolving group, and everything from their music to their clothing style will/could change. I enjoy each of their styles, I always have no matter what it’s been. I think it's simply a matter of personal/taste growth. No one is pressuring them into anything. And as for them all being blond at one point... I don’t think it was choreographed, that’s just a silly assumption. I like Stacy with brown hair, but it’s very much her choice, doesn't seem like someone from some outer force was pushing it. Also I really think the new attire change is a result of the Ben Sherman stuff, and they like it, so what?! Come on...tsk tsk. |
