So, the other day I was listening to my Room Noises CD (Combinations is great, but you can't just abandon the old stuff you know). Now, for reference, I have listened to every song on that album at least 200 times (with a few of the songs over 300 plays). With all that listening, you'd think I'd know every note, every little vocal intonation, and every other imaginable thing about every song on the album. And yet, upon listening to Memories, I was stunned to discover something new that I had never before heard (a little drum thing by Weston) that totally changes the way I hear the song now. Anyway, long story short, I just wanted to say how great it is that even after all this time, I can still find new things in Eisley's songs. It's like they grow and change with you, each song molding itself to perfectly fit the listening. It's truly amazing. Anyone else experience this with their songs, or is this just me? _________________

I'm the same way. Only recently when I was listening to "Plenty of Paper" did I realize the neat and eerie little "Ooh"s that Stacy does as Sherri sings the "Perhaps this is the end we've sought after for so long..." part. I really like that part now haha. _________________ www.kailahandler.bandcamp.com |

When I first heard it that's immediately what I thought of, but I assumed I was the only one. _________________ www.kailahandler.bandcamp.com |
