SECOND ISSUE OF THE E-ZINE! So, here we go, it's time to start working on the second issue of the EISLEY FANZINE! This will be a much better production overall, and will likely be on something better than photocopied paper. 
And my other big announcement: I have an assistant editor ... Violet (Killabikini). Say hi! Heh. She'll be helping out with a lot of stuff, so that means she's really cool. She's full of good ideas and it will be fun to see them pan out. So ... we're looking for suggestions and submissions. We need words, and especially pictures. If you have a favorite song/discovery story to share, let us know. What do you want to see in the zine? Let us now! Post here and/or send your ideas to Killabikini (PM) or to my e-mail (Bender665@aol.com) for now, because my PM inbox is full and I'm afraid I won't get them. Anyway, I just wanted to make those annoucements. I'm thinking I want this out by late June, so if I could have everything by the first of June (or way earlier would be nice), that would be cool. Thanks, y'all.
----------------------- THE E-ZINE is COMING! First, I hope this is on topic enough ... I'm taking orders for the first (very unofficial) Eisley Fanzine, title the E-zine (short for Eisley-zine). It's scheduled to be 28 pages, photocopied, staple bound and chock full of fan-produced Eisley related fun.
The first issue features a wrap-up — complete with pictures — of the Tiny Texas Tour (including the warm up show in Canton), a photo gallery (which still needs submissions!) and your submitted testiominals ("How I discovered Eisley" and "My favorite Song." You still have time to get one of these in if you HURRY!). There will also be a little look at Eisley merchandise, just because I want to promote it.
Aaaand ... here's the cover (note that it is subject to change): 
To order this, send $2 to: Jamie Maldonado 1221 America Drive Longview, Texas 75604 It will still be a week or two before I get this finished and shipped etc., but I need to know how many copies I'm going to have to make, so I appreciate swift ordering, as this is a side project to my job and I can't give it all my time. I'm also going to try to get PayPal set up soon.
Let me state now that ... THIS IS NOT TO MAKE MONEY OFF OF EISLEY! IT IS A FAN TRIBUTE. I WILL PROBABLY LOSE MONEY! If I do somehow make anything, too, it will be put toward the second issue, which I'm pretty sure will happen if I get a good enough response to this one. Anyway, I hope this wasn't too shameless for Eisley blog.

Side project to your job, psh..... Living to promote Eisely should be your job! It should be all our jobs! Then our company, called "EWDYA,E" (Eisley Will Dominate Your Ass, Earth!) shall overthrow the emperor of Spain, and all his silly little minions with their Monty Python ripoff accents and their mustaches that are made up of 2 really long hairs that curl about their faces! _________________ If the end of the world has proper noodles I'll probably be okay with it. |
