it was MAGNIFICENT. seriously, like, one of the top nights of my life. what did everyone else there think of the show? oh! and Vedera and Myriad were wonderful. loved both bands. yon asian guitarist from Myriad is my new hero. a.) for the use of the bow on the guitar. b.) for stealing posters for my compadres and I. |

I'm preparing a post with my "review" of the show and the pictures and videos I took, but YES! It was an amazing show. I love them for playing old songs like Lady of the Wood and SunFeet. I felt like I was one of the only ones who knew those songs (a lot of the songs, actually...) I was happy to not hear Telescope Eyes, even though I don't hate it. Just glad that it's in retirement. It kills me inside to see a bow (though it was a miniature, probably 1/2 size, thankfully) used on a guitar/brought on a tour. My bow was about $500...and I treat it accordingly. with love _________________

But, I would imagine that some people probably used an older or spare bow for that movement. BUT: All the cello bows we use in the percussion section are complete garbage. I had to play bowed crotales the previous concert for a Corgliano piece. _________________ EisleyForever wrote: you're A-list in my heart! MAKECOLDPLAYHISTORY |

The girls were all so adorable, and I LOVED westons bowtie. :] oy. I'm still giddy. |

Oh golly. Wonderful show. And Sigur Ros are indeed excellent, noticed them playing over the speakers at the beginning... that filled me with joy. That was such a good show... wow. I LOVED hearing Mr. Pine, for reals. And I Could Be There For You was... magical. And yeah, Myriad guitar boy was a total sweetheart for helping us nab those posters. Honestly, what a wonderfully nice guy. By the way, DRMS person, nice profile picture. I'm a fan. :] _________________ for a minute there, i lost myself. |

That was special. _________________ for a minute there, i lost myself. |

Well, I had my adventures getting there. Glad to make it to the show alive and sorta in one piece. LOL I think it was the best of Eisley last night. The sound was amazing. I was already a fan of Vedera and The Myriad (especially the Myriad). The guitarist's name is John, btw. Jeremy is the lead singer, Randy is the drummer, John Roger is the bass player, John plays guitar, and Steven plays keys/guitar. Someday, though, I hope to hear "Don't Let Them See You" live. All of them are seriously nice guys. Vedera was so very nice at the end and very patient with me. They even held the camera lenses so I could swap them for photos. LOL My ticket got lost on the way, so I came with a printed receipt and hopes, and I ran into Steven right as I got out of the car. I had some cereal for Eisley, and he went to the bus with me and had them come out to take it. Boyd said he could smell the cereal from where he was. LOL Then Boyd put me on the guest list. So, the concert was completely amazing all around. I loved it!!!! I have lots of pics, but hardly any turned out. I'll try to get the few that did up soon. No great shakes on the pics though. And I had a conversation with someone in the front about Sigor Ros. Oh, and I was told no video with my Canon 20D that doesn't have video capability. But whoever was next to me was taking video. Go figure. LOL Oh, and if you read this Boyd, big serious thank you's. I told Randy to tell you thanks for me, too. I was rather sad that we didn't get to chat after. Maybe next time. Thanks for everything!! |

Skinny girl with very short brown hair who got in a car accident? It was really nice talking to you before the show! JOHN was his name. Thank you... that's been bothering me. _________________ for a minute there, i lost myself. |
